Tyson Haynes position: Center/Power Forward age: 21 height: 7'0 weight: 220lbs Current Team: Arizona State Prospect Grades: C+ C- C- B- B- A Strengths: Great natural athlete. Possesses all the tools to be a force at the Pro level. Runs the floor like a guard. Has very good leaping ability and quickness. Relentless on the glass. Developing mid range shooter. Solid passing skills and handles. Has a good feel for the game. Solid interior defender. Will block some shots and play position. Intense competitor. Won't take plays off. Has plenty of room to grow. Weaknesses: Has good strength, but lacks bulk. Needs to put on more muscle. Shooting mechanics aren't textbook. Relies on athleticism too much. Defensive awareness could improve. Good, but not great defensively. Got jacked in freak street luging accident. Notes: Was looking like an elite prospect before the accident. Doctors are saying he should return to good health, but they are uncertain as to whether or not Haynes can regain his pre-accident form/abilities. Haynes will undergo extensive physiotherapy sessions and will probably miss the first few months of the upcoming season. Basically a gamble at this point. Scouts say his potential was excellent. More notes: Therapy seems to have paid off as Haynes has made noticeable improvements over the past 6 months. His mobility is slowly returning as is his quickness and leaping ability. He still has a ways to go but the outlook is very positive.
