I agree. Considering where Chamberlain was picked, this is probably bad value but the fact that he can't block shots to go along with his offensive short comings really hurt his stock.
I needed another big man very badly. Chau is a sick shot blocker. I love the potential in a Chau/Orton FC.

I love Chau, but I can't pass up an opportunity to get someone with upside of Chamberlain with Highlander ready to start.

Value wise, gotta love it for aar i'd think. I'm just not confident he will become the player he was supposed to be. A- A- is nice but he doesn't block and will never score. I needed a big and Dan and Ducky after both considering rejected tristan and karron, which surprised me. Very happy with Chau. Only 27, 16/10/3.5 guy consistently. |

Chau is a better player than Chamberlain, but he's got nice upside is a great post defender and an excellent rebounder.
Highlander is a starting-calibre player, so I may as well take a chance of Chamberlain

Chamberlain kinda sucks, but Sonics have the depth to be able to take a chance on him maybe somehow becoming a good player. Good deal both ways.
