1. Detroit Pistons - DellJuan Pearson SF 6'10'' 220 18 B B- C+ B C+ A
Pearson is easily the #1 pick. He has amazing skills and size and he's only 18. The sky is the limit for Pearson. He has the ability to score inside and out, handle and defend. One day he could play point guard and be a triple double machine.
2. New Orleans Hornets - J.P Breezey SF 6'10'' 222 20 C+ B B- C+ B- A
Breezey is a poor mans Pearson, but only because Pearson is on another planet. Breezey has amazing skills and would be the #1 pick if Pearson had been forced to go to college. The Hornets might put Breezey at PF and the combo of him and Morrison at the forward slots would be scary.
3. Houston Rockets - Mike Smith PG 5'10'' 176 20 B+ D B+ C+ D A
The Rockets really need a go to scorer and a point guard and they get both with Mike Smith. Smith has the ability to take big shots and handle the rock when it matters most. The only thing that could push Smith down is his lack of an outside shot.
4. Golden State Warriors - Andres Kemp SF 6'8'' 225 19 B- C+ C B- C+ A
The Warriors already have studs for the future at PG in Jackie Skoals and SG in Kareem Melton. In Kemp they add someone who can play 3 or 4 and should become an All League type defender. Kemp fashions his game after Delvon Roe and Serge Ibaka, which is exactly what the upstart Warriors need.
5. Atlanta Hawks - Daniel Johnson SF 6'8'' 223 20 C A- B- C+ B+ A
The Hawks already have their franchise player of the future in Dmitri Maximov, so what they need now is a superb complimentary player. Johnson is just that. A super shooter who should fit in perfect with Maximov in an up tempo outside offense, Johnson also brings an uncanny ability to rebound from the SF spot.
6. Dallas Mavericks - Ruslan Sergeyev PF 6'7'' 225 19 B+ C- C- B+ C- A
Mavs need to add as much talent as possible this offseason and the most talented player left on the board is Ruslan Sergeyev. Sergeyev is a rugged inside scorer and defender who can play 3 or 4. Not a great rebounder, Sergeyev should be a player that average 18-20 points per game and hounds his counterpart on defense.
7. Philadelphia 76ers - Sawyer Verschagen PF 6'10'' 260 20 B+ C- C B- B- A
Power Forward is the last spot of need for the Sixers and they get a solid post player here in Verschagen. Verschagen is a polished inside scorer who shoul complement Brody Masterson very well.
8. Dallas Mavericks - Lavar Dial C 7'4'' 240 22 B- C- C B B- C
The Mavericks go big here with Lavar Dial. He has the size and skills to be a solid backup at least, and with the possibility of drafting Nigel Dial later in Round 1 they also get a chance at some big time upside.
9. Philadelphia 76ers - Alejandro Papadopol C 6'9'' 300 21 A- C- C+ C- C+ A
Just in case Verschagen doesnt work out the Sixers go out and get another PF spect in Papadopol. Scouts and GMs question his upside, but his scoring ability cannot be ignored.
10. Washington Wizards - Ricky Washington SG 6'6'' 210 21 B B- C C+ C A
Washington's value has dropped in recent weeks. Once thought to be a top 5 pick, Washington has had poor workouts and his stock has plummeted. At 10 the Wizards arent gambling too much taking Washington.
11. San Antonio Spurs - Omar Rickards SG 6'4'' 225 27 B+ B+ C C+ C- D
Rickards is perfect for the Spurs planned quick turnaround. An elite scorer, Rickards has questionable upside and serious age concerns.
For the Spurs he should be a perfect 6th man scorer off the bench.
12. Dallas Mavericks - Nigel Dial C 7'3'' 225 22 B- C- D+ B- C+ B
The Mavericks hit the jackpot drafting both Dial brothers. Add in Sam Hyde and Rob York and the Mavs have a promising young frontline.
13. Houston Rockets - Shawn Carter C 7'1'' 218 19 B C+ F C+ C+ A
The Rockets already have a nice young center in Tyler Brady but they cant pass on Shawn Carters upside. Carter is someone who could pretty easily slide to power forward and give the Rockets a versatile scoring 4.
