Colorado
Potential BBS Ratings: B C- B- C A- A
Strengths
Aimetti is a fucking straight shooter. One of the most dominant scoring/rebounding big men we've seen in a while at the college ranks. Averaged over 20ppg and 15rpg. His bulky size and tremendous strength make GMs going hard watching him play. His offensive rebounding is mind blowing, he creates 4-5 more offensive opportunities for his team every game. He's a game changer. He's also a fantastic passer for his size (reminds me of Sabonis or Divac). Truly one of the more unique games. Also very athletic for his size. Moves pretty damn well too.
Weaknesses
He'll try to do too much at times and turn the ball over. He is not a good on ball defender, and despite his athleticism, he averaged just under a block a game in college. Tends to be lazy on the defensive end, and doesn't mind giving up a point here or there. He's more concerned about his offense and getting rebounds to give him more looks on offense. Same thing goes for his jump shot. He's only concerned with playing in the paint and creating opportunities for his team to score. He may be lazy, but he does care about his team and does want to win (by scoring as much as possible). If he would be a little open minded and improve his outside game and defense, he'd be a fucking force in BBS.
Outlook
Everyone loves a Frenchman. His combination of size, strength, and athleticism make Gave one of the hotter prospects in this draft. But to put up the most points possible is his mindset, and that might not sit well for some teams. Top 5 pick.
