Brian "Beep" Lane

Rutgers
Current Ratings: A C C C+ C- A
Strengths
Has absolutely incredible precision when driving to the basket. Picture a hybrid of Tony Parker, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo in-terms of aggression and creativity around the basket. Despite his size, he can throw it down with the ease of Nate Robinson and should win several dunk contests.
In games, he'll score by any means necessary and will never force a dunk. He exhibits his scoring prowess in his sophomore year at Rutgers, where he is averaging 26.5 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.8 apg and 2.5 spg.
He is a ball-hawk on defense and loves to steal the ball. He will be among the league leaders in this category one day.
He may end up being the league's first A+ inside scorer, he is that good at getting to the basket.
He's very strong for his size and has crazy hops.
Weaknesses
Lane has no shortage of weaknesses. He is not a strong passer and this leads to some turnovers.
Lane always wants the ball in his hands and so would you if you could do what he can around the basket.
His jump shot needs a lot of work and it will take time before he can drain threes with any sort of regularity. Opposing players challenge him to shoot because he shoots 26% from outside and 71% from the stripe.
Relies too much on his offensive game and needs work almost everywhere else.
Outlook
A very intriguing player who will likely be a top-5 pick on intrigue alone.
If you are willing to risk having a one-dimensional player on your team who will likely have weaknesses throughout his career, he is worth the risk.
