Strengths: Ransaw is a balanced scorer. He has a solid mid-range game and can drive to the basket. He doesn't have a great three-point shot, but it has slowly improved. However, his real strength rests on the defensive end of the court. He's an absolute beast of an all-around defender, very much in the Ron Artest mold. He plays physical but smart. He should be a solid enough of an on-ball defender to get around a block and a steal per game. He is not an amazing athlete but is certainly capable enough to hang with the best of athletes.
Weaknesses: He is a below average ball-handler who sometimes loses control when driving to the lane. His offensive game is solid but certainly wouldn't be considered refined. He will probably never be an elite scorer, but he thinks he is. He also is a below-average rebounder and sometimes gets caught cherry-picking up court.
