But its all cool. I ultimately get what I want. All expiring to surround, my core of Sawyer, JP and Morrison. Morrison's injury was the only reason I was dreadful, but he is coming back soon, so hopefully we won't have 1-9 slip ups. .

I dont really get it for the Hornets. Nice for Miami though. They get a pick and a solid starter.

Its simple. The plan is to free up as much cap space as possible, to be a major player in free agency. The draft is weak, and the pick is projected to be #14 at best. However, I've only fell out of the playoff picture because Morrison was injuried. Once Morrison returns combine with Curry, Sawyer, Evans, I should make a push to get back into the playoffs.
In my eyes, Being able to max out 2 players is more important than a pick that will be 14th, 15th or 16th.

Free agency is about taking chances. Sven is just a role player that hasn't averaged 10ppg over his career. I rather take my chances trying to add star type player in free agency.

True, I just really love Andersson and don't think he's someone you need to add a pick to move. Hes a perfect role player/5th starter.

Huge expiring contracts are scarce as mostly everyone is trying to be players in free agency this year. Only 2 GMs had expiring contracts that they were willing to trade and both needed picks to deal those expiring contracts. Both though he was trash and tryed to squeeze two picks out of me, but obviously they came to their senses. |

Sven is the best positional defender FBB has ever seen!
No but really, I like this a lot for New Orleans. That pick sucks because no way this draft is 14 deep. Sven is definitely nice, but I like the chance of a big FA more. Especially with Reed available.

In that case, definitely worth the risk. Someone needs to get Reed. This isn't a typical FA situation where you're hoping to steal a player from a team with birds. He could go anywhere and losing Sven is definitely worth the risk.
