Reason: My interest is dwindling. I could care less about youth. I want to attempt to grab a championship. I also knock out the team that took me out last year. If I don't win the championship (rather likely), this deal sucks. Durant is a 1 year option. But I may never have another shot like this, so take it. Risks you have to take.

Great value for Durant, but the Pistons are now far and away the team to beat out East IMO. No one touches them as far as I'm concerned.
So much better then Sydney too.
