1. Golden State Warriors - Oscar Robertson SF 6'5'' 205 27 A- C+ A- B A- B
Adding Oscar Robertson to Rick Barry is nasty. These 2 should be perennial All Star players for the next decade. No reason that the Warriors cant get back to elite status with these 2.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers - Clyde Lee C 6'10'' 210 22 C+ D+ D+ B A- B
Clyde Lee is a great rebounder and should be a very good BBS center. Although he doesn't have the star power of a player like Robertson, Lee will be very good. Don't let that B potential fool you, he is a legit talent.
3. Miami Heat - Dave Bing PG 6'3'' 180 22 C+ B- B- B C A
The Heat need a player to build around and Dave Bing has the ability to be the prototype outside focus PG. Bing has good quickness, a solid jumper and can create for teammates.
4. Utah Jazz - Joe Ellis SF 6'6'' 178 22 C+ C+ C- B- B+ A
The Jazz need to start over from scratch and take the BPA in Joe Ellis here. While he isn't a typical SF he has too many strengths to pass on him at 4. An Amazing rebounder, Ellis needs to work on his offensive game to be a two way threat.
5. New Jersey Nets - Dick Snyder SF 6'5'' 207 22 B+ C B C+ C A
Snyder is really more of an undersized PF then a true SF, but his skills cannot be denied. A very good inside scorer and passer, Snyder is a unique talent and should help the Nets a lot.
6. Los Angeles Lakers - Cazzie Russell SF 6'5'' 220 22 B B- C C+ C A
Russell has a very nice balanced offensive game that should compliment Bob Love well. Russell is one of the few spects that has a nice 3 point shot and he should become a more traditional type of wing in the future.
7. Las Vegas Rebels - Jim Barnett SG 6'4'' 175 22 C+ B C B- C A
Barnett is a bit undersized and doesn't have the strength to finish at the rim consistently, but he is a smart player and solid shooter. While he probably wont be a star, he should be an excellent role player for the Rebels.
8. Atlanta Hawks - Lou Hudson SF 6'5'' 210 22 B+ C C C+ C+ B
Hudson is a very good inside scorer that can play 2, 3 or 4. Not the best defender, Hudson gets by doing the little things, and should be a nice role player on an up and coming Hawks squad.
9. Detroit Pistons - Freddie Lewis PG 6'0'' 175 23 B- B- C+ B- C A
Lewis might have more of a future as a SG then as a PG. He has some ball handling issues, but he can score from anywhere. With Derrick Rose and Darius Hamilton able to do the majority of the ball handling duties, Lewis seems like a good fit in Detroit.
10. Houston Rockets(from the Portland Trail Blazers) - John Block C 6'9'' 210 22 B C C B- B- B
The Rockets seemingly solved their big man dilemma at the end of last season, but experienced has showed them they can never have enough bigs. Here they take John Block. A very solid 2 way big that can score and board.
11. Toronto Raptors - Walt Wesley C 6'11'' 220 21 B- D+ D+ B+ C+ B
Raptors are another team that likes to stockpile bigs. Here they grab Walt Wesley. One of the few bigs in this draft with true C size. Wesley is a very good defender and a solid rebounder.
12. Washington Wizards - John Beasley C 6'9'' 225 22 B- C D+ C+ B- A
The Wizards would really like to get a star type player but none can be found this late. Instead they go for another big body that can play 3, 4 or 5. Beasley has a nice solid all around game and some good upside.
13. New Jersey Nets(from the Houston Rockets) - Happy Hairston PF 6'7'' 230 24 B- C C- C+ B B
The Nets need more size, and while Hairston isn't big by any means he can play some PF. Hairston is a solid rebounder and scorer who should develop into either a nice starter at SF or a solid backup at 3 and 4.
