I'm totally excited about my draft class. Total we bring in 6 new faces with 4 first round guys and 2 second round guys.
Amare Stoudemire- Obviously is going to be the center piece of our team for a very long time. He should be explosive offensively and we're looking forward to him developing.
Juan Carlos Navarro- The best PG in the draft class in a league which isn't too PG heavy we hope Navarro can jump in and make an instant impact. We expect a fundamental player solid shooting numbers, 7-8 ast and 2topg.
Udonis Haslem- We were surprised he fell to us at #15 and we think he'll compliment Amare nicely putting up solid rebounding numbers and being a solid complimentary non option scorer. Hopefully double double guy.
Jared Jeffries- I'm a big fan of do it all players and I think thats what we get with Jeffries and he should be 12 and 7 with a steal and block a game and we'll be really excited about that. If he doesn't pan out as a starter he'll be an excellent super sub backup.
Jiri Welsch and Mladen Sekularac- Both Euro swing men with good handles and mediocre inside and out games but both very complete players. I think they both can play the 1,2 or 3 positions so again I love the versatility.
Overall couple this crop of draftees with a few free agents and I could be a fairly competitive team after being the worst team in the league last season.

We had a decent draft. I knew at #9 we would get Krstic or Nene and Nene fell so I'm cool with that, he was higher in the mock. We have a sick young core now with Miller/Carter/Gasol/Nene.

Obviously I'm very happy to have picked up Yao, and also pleased to get Roger Mason Jr. at 27.

Carlos Boozer - Definitely the logical pick at #5. I think at worst he'll be an 18/8 guy, but I would love to see him develop beyond that.
Drew Gooden - I'm not gonna lie, at first I was dissappointed that Navarro didn't fall to us at #11. However, after the Marbury trade, I'm really happy to have Gooden. I think he can be an 15/8 guy in a starting role.
Fred Jones - I like this guy. He won't be anything more than a solid role player, but that's all I'm asking from him.
Vlatko Ilievski - Surprisingly decent starting ratings. Even if his potential is average, he could be somewhat useful.
Goran Cakic - The guy has the same ratings as Matt Barnes but didn't have nearly the amount of buzz... he's worth a shot in the second round.

That's my draft. Arenas obviously is the prize of the draft for me but I'm happy with everyone else. Dan Gad/Evans should give me a solid back up front court. I thought Parker was gonna go earlier so getting him with one of my 2nd's was nice. Williams and Cooke are just projects. Hopefully one has solid potential. I'm pretty happy with it.
