I actually like Thompson and he played well for me in Irish's absences, but I need more flexibility under the HC for FA, and he's the only one that would give me enough without losing a starter.

Yeah, I accept this. I have a plan with all this. Thompson's a player I like a lot, and I didn't want to pass up on so cheaply getting him. Plus, I only had like 7 mil. in cap, so it wasn't enough to get anyone major. I have Wall's 26 mil. expiring coming off the books after the season, too, so cap-wise, I'm OK. Still will look to trade Thompson and Breezey potentially though. And there's no one in this draft I like at all, really.
