John Tomase of the BOSTON HERALD has news that’ll surely cheer up Pats fans today: “new allegations have emerged about a Patriots employee taping the Rams’ final walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI. According to a source, a member of the team’s video department filmed the Rams’ final walkthrough before that 2002 game. The next day, the Patriots upset St. Louis, 20-17, on a last-second field goal by Adam Vinatieri for their first championship.” Tomase has more detail in the piece, but you get the idea. We really are starting to wonder just how many people in the NFL despise Bill Belichick. We imagine there’s plenty of this going around all over the league, but leaks like these, the day before the Super Bowl, aren’t a coincidence. Much like the recent news of a former Patriots employee, Matt Walsh, who might know more about Spygate than has been released publicly - being made known right before what should be the Pats’ finest hour. We’re guessing Roger Goodell now wishes he didn’t destroy those tapes. www.bostonherald.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1070762&srvc=sports&position=0sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3226465

Too much suspicious shit went down to dismiss Spygate so easily. There was obviously more behind it.

I think there was much more. Goodell seemed like he wanted to get it out of sight as soon as possible. I hate the Patriots. Hate NY too but it's the worse of 2 evils deal to me.
The officiating was terrible in that SB with the Rams. I could'nt see it on TV but I read they were grabbing all the Rams receivers, you cant see that on TV if the broadcast team doesnt replay it since they follow the ball mainly. But the main thing I remember about that SB with the Rams is how they kept grabbing and tackling Faulk in the backfield when he obviously did'nt have the ball. I did see that. At that time Faulk was probably the best receiving RB in the game and they just would'nt let him get out of the backfield. You can say it was smart gameplanning I guess but if officials called rule it like it was written they could'nt do it.
The officiating was terrible.

The patriot DBs have always grabbed WR until they brought in the 5 yard illegal contact rule (after the patriot dbs were holding colt wr in the AFC championship game a few years back which lead to the patriots winning the game and superbowl). I have wondered why this was never brought up in all the cheating talk (even though
