I think you should wait a little longer before dealing Kemp for this.
Ratings wise I can kinda see why you do it. But Kemp is pretty rare, and very valuable.
Gonna have to say this needs to be vetoed or reworked.

i don't get it. the guy got hired without any stipulations/handholding, and made a trade. either he is good enough to run the team then, or he needs to be fired. i think the veto is just completely unfair to mark

Veto, for sure. You've been here about an hour..
Why would even consider trading one of your best players, without shopping him around first? Makes no sense.

I don't really understand a veto without a fire. There weren't any trade restrictions on this guy. I could stomach losing him back to the Pistons if it was just a "hey, we made a mistake on a guy" type thing, but to just get a gimme on the first trade and stick around? Ridiculous to me and a fucking great waste of an hour.

For now its just a veto.
For future reference, if I ever say "I dont know about this guy, lets give him a chance" this means, I dont know if this guy is a good GM or not but we should give him a chance. So if the guy makes a bad first deal, it may be vetoed. Doesnt mean Im gonna give up on the guy, just means his trades will be viewed critially by me and they may need to be worked on.
Everyone in BBS has been pretty lucky that weve always had a good core of GMs with a solid wait list. Well, as the GM core become finicky and decides certain Gms cant be here, the Gm wait list gets thinner. As a group we need to develop some new GMs.

As a group we need to develop some new GMs. I like the idea of developing guys because we could use a few more solid members towards the bottom of the league. But nobody had any clue what this guy's deal was--what he's been in, if he's active, if he's a good GM--and there was no one- or two-week trade ban or anything. If there aren't any kid gloves on, Mark shouldn't be the one paying for that.

B+ B B A- C+ C = C A- B- A- C A If Dodge were a rookie with those ratings and a great first TC I wouldn't mind this trade at all. But Dodge is an older player that almost certainly doesn't have real A potential anymore. This is why ratings don't tell the story and also why new Gms shouldn't trade in an established league so quickly.

I think this is something that has slowly gotten on my nerves, so if this post is rude, I apologize. i just think you need to take a step back and realize that you continue to post the same thing over and over again I will get more upset.

Let me give him Dustin Jackson then too For me this probably gets it done. Sucks that Kemp goes so cheaply, but Id like to give this guy a shot.
