I wonder if he did. Or I wonder if he's just happy to have more offseason time to binge drink and beat women now. Or I wonder if it even matters what time of year it is for him.
Would be nice to make the playoffs, but Gerald Laird is a better defensive catcher than Alex Avila.

Ya he prob didn't care when hehad 3rbi's a hr and a double last night. He prob didn't care when he hit numerous clutch hits during the marlins 03 ship.
Only if the tigers had more players that don't care like him.

Not justifying him hitting his wife, just saying his production speaks for itself. He clearly cares about the teams success. Getting a misdemeanor dosnt mean you become a bad baseball player.
