I agree. Big risk, but i think it's worth it. Morrison has never really been on a good team and it's time to see what he could do. Our team will look more complete late tonight or tomorrow morning when another GM signs on.
TO"s suck but 28/7/5, 3 steals, 2 blocks on 52% is ridiculous

It was time for a change. Had a block up and this was the best offer I got. Brody is one of the best centers in the league, Kemp is 24 and is a flat out defensive monster and his offense is coming along. Morrison is an awesome player but the TOs are something he was never able to overcome despite all the attention I gave to his handles.

His #'s are so insane that they counter act his TO's IMO. We have enough good ball handlers that it shouldn't really matter anyways.
For his career, he averaged 27.9 ppg 7.2 rpg 5.7 apg 2.4 spg 2.0 bpg on 49% shooting. 3-4 to's sick, but who averaged 5.7 assisst, 4.5 spg/bpg and 28 ppg? lol

I dunno if it's the best value Dru could've gotten, but I love this deal for him. He gets two very elite players. At the moment, It was. Of course people had interest but Skillz came at me aggressively and made it no secret, he was interested, we negotiated and we worked it out. To my defense, I paired Morrison with a really good team when I had Sawyer/Blair and Lance we he was still good. However the East was very strong year, as it is every year. Should be interesting what he does out West. |
