i should of drafted kelly. he looks like a monta ellis type player. could be a steal. who knows.

This may be me being out of experience, but I just don't feel MEM is going to be any better next year than this year.
I see the deal making me worse this year (thus improving my pick) and adding a likely late lottery pick next year. I'm pretty pleased with that.

We were hampered with injuries and started 6-16. We are 18-7 since then. We won 63 games last year. |

Maybe I'll regret the trade.
Maybe Kelly doesn't turn into Monta and this trade ends up being largely irrelevant.
Maybe the fact that you'll be over the cap with only 6 signed players ends up hurting you next year.
Regardless, I'm not as good this season, and I get a pick that may (or may not) pan out.
