barbosa from umbc is a potential guy of mine...looking good early against gtown Seen him play live a few times. He's a sound player, good scorer, does a lot well on the court. I like Proctor a lot more but he probably doesn't have the right size for the game he plays. Where's Barbosa looking at playing?

Vermont needs to recruit a good big, they would be sick. Trapani's gonna look good for BC next year. Blakely is a dominant player, and dominates the glass, and he sucks in the post but he's good athletic enough to make a lot of layups in addition to the five putbacks he gets every game. They could use someone downlow to help him avoid double teams, but he's usually athletic enough to get his numbers. Bing was real effective double-teaming him for one half, but he is too much on the offensive glass. I think they're fine, but they could use a wing with some size. Two great shooters in the backcourt, Blakely's the best post defender and help defender in the conference, but they tend to do absolutely no slashing and don't pass out of the post well. If they had a guy with some size anywhere, it'd be huge for them. The conference belongs to Binghamton, though. They're bringing in two kids who could be playing right now at Syracuse and Gonzaga, and at PG and C, their biggest weaknesses (with Gordon gone.) I can't wait. Reilly, do you know anything about Mike Gordon? Ever seen him play? I'd look into him if you can. Six-foot guard, big wing span, great, great handles, best defender in America East, and he can get really hot from the perimeter. He's definitely athletic enough to play overseas, and he has serious game.

Stephen Curry is a baller. I have Davidson beating G'Town so I'm going to need a big effort out of him

Nevada's gotten lucky as hell, they have two nasty players coming in Luke Babbitt & Mark McLaughlin.
They're gonna be sick the next two years...McGee, Fields, and those two guys coming in.
Southern Illinois, St. Louis, New Mexico & Utah also have really solid recruiting classes coming in.
The A-10 is also getting more and more legit every year. Xavier is there every year, St. Joes is recruiting pretty well these days, and Dunphy will get it done at Temple too.
Then, you have Dayton (who I see being a top 15 team next season), UMass, and Rhode Island who are also solid, and St. Louis is gonna be a legit team soon as well.

I'll be really surprised if Dayton is a top 15 team next year nova...we'll have two good/great swingmen in Chris Wright and Marcus Johnson and an athletic PF in Charles Little. But we still need to develop a post scorer, a more consistent PG, and a shooter to replace 3-time MVP Brian Roberts. I feel like we would have been a top 15 this year had Wright stayed healthy, but Roberts' graduation is gonna take a lot of getting used to.

Vandy's getting thumped.
If Nova can win and Siena wins, I think we can get to the Sweet 16.
