Atlanta Hawks
Deon Price SG 24 6'4'' 225 A- A- C A- C B
29.8 ppg 7.5 rpg 2.3 apg .411 3p%
Price is among the league leaders in scoring and at age 24 and signed to a long-term deal, he is among the league's most valuable players.
Price does a little bit of everything, but one thing he has been unable to do this season is win games for this Hawks team.
With the exception of a good point guard, the Hawks have a solid up and coming starting lineup.
Having a projected top-3 pick (at press time), the Hawks will be adding another nice piece to Price and if that piece ends up being Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the Hawks will be a force for years to come.
Grade: B
Solid individual performance, but the Hawks have struggled this season.
New Orleans Hornets
Earl Monroe SG 23 6'3'' 188 A- B C B+ C- A
23.4 ppg 3.3 apg 2.3 spg 1.9 topg .481 fg% .908 ft%
Monroe was essentially acquired for Andres Kemp and did not have the type of training camp that a GM would desire.
The trade for Monroe would signal a rebuild, but instead, the Hornets kept a strong supporting cast including Sawyer Verschagen and John Block.
The Hornets will get a top-10 pick to compliment this supporting cast, but have not taken the steps towards a true, full rebuild - this strategy may hurt them.
Currently, Monroe has played as expected and his future relies solely on the next few training camps or else the Hornets lost a superior player in Kemp.
Grade: C
Chicago Bulls
Terrell Morrison SF 28 6'5'' 220 A- A A A C+ C
29.1 ppg 7.4 rpg 5.1 apg 2.7 spg 2.2 bpg 3.4 topg .508 fg% .872 ft% .463 3p%
If it wasn't for his horrible ball handling abilities, Morrison could have been the best player in BBS history.
Morrison is still an elite player, but this Bulls team has to have the worst record for a team with such quality that one could imagine.
Surrounded by Reggie Yates and Jacques Mercier, the Bulls will be a lottery team, which is absolutely unheard of.
Grade: D
Cleveland Cavaliers
Percy Jackson SF 24 6'10'' 237 B+ A- C B+ C+ B
20.9 ppg 6.8 rpg 1.1 spg 1.3 bpg 1.6 topg
As a former 1st overall pick, Jackson has been surrounded by plenty of hype. Unfortunately, he has been surpassed by draft-mate Deon Price, who has become the better player.
Jackson has shown versatility and can play three positions, but his output thus far has been lackluster - in fact, Jackson has never won Player of the Week honors in his entire career.
The Cavs have been one of the worst franchises, if not the worst, in BBS history and Jackson has done nothing to convince anyone that he will be the one to turn them around.
Grade: F
Detroit Pistons
Rick Adelman PG 22 6'1'' 175 C+ C A- A- C A
15.8 ppg 5.7 rpg 7.9 apg 1.8 spg 1.7 topg
Martinez was dealt a bad hand when he took over the Pistons and the fact that their "superstar" is the player that Martinez selected shows that he has the team headed in a decent direction.
Adelman's efficiency is responsible for this team winning any games whatsoever and with the Pistons not owning their upcoming draft pick, Martinez will have to sit on this heap of shit and hope for a stroke of luck in free agency.
Grade: C-
Indiana Pacers
Oscar Wright SF 26 6'9'' 225 B A A- B+ C+ B
21.0 ppg 6.7 rpg 5.1 apg .489 fg% .881 ft% .434 3p%
The recently acquired Wright has looked great for the Pacers thus far and is a great compliment to the Pacers outside-oriented system.
The biggest problem with the Pacers is that they are very middle-of-the-road at this point and need to make some serious moves to re-enter serious contention.
Wright's scoring numbers aren't over the top, but his percentages indicate that he is an efficient scorer and his assists-per-game indicate that he is great at moving the ball.
Grade: B
Milwaukee Bucks
Sylvester Rollins PG 31 6'0'' 185 B A B A- C C
29.2 ppg 5.8 rpg 7.8 apg 1.8 spg 1.4 topg .463 fg% .869 ft% .431 3p%
One of the most slept on players in league history, Rollins has been an incredible player for the Bucks since they drafted him. Many criticized the Bucks for taking Rollins with the 6th pick in the draft and he has proven the haters wrong as a two-time First Team player and one-time MVP.
Rollins will continue to help the Bucks as they try to unseat the Raptors for the #2 seed in the East.
Rollins has a spectacular supporting cast and his numbers show that he makes the most of it.
Grade: A
Toronto Raptors
Gail Goodrich SG 25 6'1'' 179 B A+ B- B+ C- A
27.3 ppg 4.8 rpg 4.2 apg 2.7 spg .511 fg% .918 ft% .453 3p%
If he doesn't re-sign, Goodrich will be one of the hottest free agent commodities in league history.
At age 25, he has proven to be a dominant player.
Since being selected 4th overall, he has improved every year, which has culminated into a sick career year and has the Raptors on pace for their best record since 2023.
