Dallas Mavericks
Rick Barry SF 24 6'7'' 205 A- A B- B C+ B
28.4 ppg 7.4 rpg 4.0 apg .479 fg% .463 3p%
Barry is the unquestioned leader of a team that could have the best young 3/4/5 punch of all-time with Hayes and Daniels at his side.
The Mavericks have done a great job turning their team around with the help of one of the league's best defenders in Ousmane Sembene.
If the Mavs win their last five games, they will have the best record since Matt took over their team.
Grade: B+
Barry's done a great job, but much of the team's success is due to Sembene and his supporting cast.
Denver Nuggets
Gabe Aimetti C 27 7'2'' 275 B C B- A- A C
17.1 ppg 12.3 rpg 3.7 apg 3.5 bpg
Toss up between Aimetti and Julius Jackson, but Aimetti gets the nod after two straight All-League team berths.
This year's Nuggets team has been a flop and it's uncertain who the blame falls on.
The supporting cast is solid, so their record this season is confusing to say the least.
Grade: C
Houston Rockets
Marcus Bigelow PF 32 6'10'' 238 A- C C- A- A D
27.2 ppg 13.0 rpg 2.8 apg 1.1 spg 3.8 bpg
Bigelow is a winner, plain and simple. His teams have been in the playoffs for nearly 75% of his career. This year is no different as he anchors a solid, but not spectacular Rockets team.
It will be interesting to see what direction the Rockets go in, but as it stands, they will likely be .600 at the end of the season.
With their current lineup, expect the Rockets to make some noise in the playoffs.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Jerry West SG 29 6'2'' 198 A- A+ B A- C+ B
32.9 ppg 6.9 rpg 4.0 apg 1.9 spg 1.7 spg .492 fg% .913 ft% .448 3p%
Jerry Fucking West. What more can you say about the logo?
West is having a stellar season and the most surprising thing is that with the T-Wolves current starting lineup - arguably the best from top to bottom in the league - is that they don't have the league's best record.
Is this due to depth chart problems? Who knows? But the one thing I do know is that West in undoubtedly a top-5 player.
Grade: B+
San Antonio Spurs
Shawn Burnett PG 28 6'1'' 193 B+ B+ C+ A C C
18.7 ppg 6.4 rpg 3.5 apg 1.5 topg
Burnett has great ratings, but his statistics simply do not live up to them.
The Spurs have done a very poor job at compiling talent that is good enough to compete in the West and have a mediocre team.
The worst part about it is that Charles Beasley has no bird rights and do not have their pick next year.
It's downhill from here for the Spurs.
Grade: F
Utah Jazz
Jeremiah Gress SF 34 6'7'' 245 B A- B- C+ B D
29.8 ppg 8.5 rpg 6.7 apg .486 fg% .852 ft% .417 3p%
Gress is too good to be wasting his talent on this awful Jazz team - but DAMN is he good!
How the Jazz have managed to be as bad as they are with a player of Gress's calibre is mind boggling.
However, these report cards are based on a combination of individual and team performance. Since the Jazz do not have their pick, they obviously wanted to win and Gress did not help in that department.
Grade: C
A for effort - F for failure.
Memphis Grizzlies
Jack Russell SG 28 6'2'' 222 A- A- D B+ D+ C
27.3 ppg 4.5 rpg 0.8 topg .459 fg% .926 ft%
Russell's topg stats are absolutely staggering. He must be the most efficient player in the league with his low turnover statistics.
While Amon Cummings is undoubtedly the Grizzlies's superstar of the future, this team wants to win now and that success will rest on the shoulders of Russell.
Despite Myles Taylor having the league's worst contract, he has the ratings and stats that prove he can win games in droves.
The Grizzlies look like they are for real heading into the postseason.
