I told you guys he was going cheap. Essentially this is expiring and a late pick for a former first teamer and stud combo guard. Denton is now available though, for a similar type of offer.

Ratings-wise it's actually pretty interesting, because although sky ha better rebounding and potential, Denton has better inside scoring and defense... Skyler Hampton SG 28 6'4'' 186 B- A- A- B C+ C Abdul Denton PG 31 6'3'' 210 B A- A- B+ C D

Everyone knows Sky tanked TCs . Ruined my fucking franchise. I dealt Andres Kemp+ for him and absolutely got the better player at the time. Ugh.

I would have dealt for Sky had it not interfered with my cap. Now that he's off the NEts, he could bounce back in TC and caryr some value.

Nets had nothing to do with Hampton....Leaving DC had everything to do with it. He had one or two good years after he left DC and then we wore off him. Look at Melling. Gets signed away from me for an overpaid max contract (even though I offered more) and where is he even at now? Somewhere getting like 14 ppg? Everyone who leaves DC gets worse. Simple fact. Don't try to sign my guys.

Yea, do this for a lot of reasons.
1. I think Hampton can give me a little more versatility the rest of this season with his great percentages and maybe can play a little SF off the bench. 2. Hampton is signed through next year, so I can see if he goes up in TC next offseason without worrying about what to pay him. And I can have him and still have money to get a vet FA and rookie FA to give me 13 guys next year. 3. Most importantly, I feel like this is a great price to get Hampton at in case he does go back up. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to up a resemblance of his old self considering he's probably borderline right now with his great percentages.
