1. Utah Jazz: Bob Lanier C 6'11'' 250 22 B+ C C B+ B A
Really good bigs are rare in this league. Lanier doesn't have a weakness. Could be a Bob Love type.
2. Boston Celtics: Nate Archibald PG 6'1'' 160 21 B+ B+ B C+ C- A
To me, the # 1 pick isn't as obvious as other people have said. Nate is an awesome cancellation prize. Already an amazing scorer, and he has some sick ratings. If his A potential is real, he could be one of the best players BBS has seen.
3. Miami Heat: Dave Cowens C 6'9'' 230 21 B- C C B A- A
Bigs are hard to get and it's hard to see Miami turning down a potential Cowens/Kauffman FC with Pistol's TO problem looming.
4. Golden State Warriors: Pete Maravich SG 6'5'' 197 23 B A- C+ C C A
Maravich on the tanking Warriors is a good fit. It could very well be like his tenure at LSU: 40+ ppg, high to's, no defense, no wins! Love the guy though.
5. Toronto Raptors: Dan Issel C 6'9'' 235 21 B+ C+ D+ C+ C+ A
Crap shoot now. Issel is a big time inside scorer. Reminds me of a young DeMarcus Cousins.
6. Detroit Pistons: Rudy Tomjanovich PF 6'8'' 218 21 B C C- A- C+ A
Pistons could use some bigs. Rudy is a nice player that could develop into a solid 3rd starter it looks like.
7. Toronto Raptors: Randy Smith SG 6'3'' 180 22 A- C C B- C A
DJ likes to draft value and Spence has made it seem like Smith has a lot of value. Will he be Beep Lane or Senario Hillman?
8. Memphis Grizzlies: Charlie Scott SF 6'5'' 175 21 B C+ C C+ C A
Big time upside guy that is rare to find this late into the lotto.
9. Miami Heat: Calvin Murphy PG 5'9'' 165 22 C+ C+ B B D- A
The Heat need a true PG, and Murphy doesn't seem like a TO prone type.
10. Miami Heat: Gar Heard PF 6'6'' 220 22 C+ C- C- A B B
Damn, the Heat have a lot of picks. After drafting two projects, the Heat go for a sure thing in Heard, probably a player best fit as a backup 3/4/5. MAybe a poor mans Ibaka.
11. Phoenix Suns: Geoff Petrie SG 6'4'' 190 22 C+ B+ C+ C+ C A
Suns could use a SG is they play Mcmillan at pg. Mcmillan-Petrie-Jones is a nice young 1/2/3.
12. Detroit Pistons: John Johnson SF 6'7'' 200 22 B C C+ A- C+ B
Best player available. Could see Marty go with Johnson or Robinson here.
13. New York Knicks: George T. Johnson C 6'11'' 205 21 B- C C- B+ C+ B
Shot blocking big; Outlawz loves drafting these type of guys around this level.
14. Houston Rockets: Sam Robinson SF 6'7'' 190 22 B- C C C+ C+ A
Big time value pickup here.
15. New Orleans Hornets: Pete Cross C 6'9'' 230 22 B- C- D+ B+ B B
Draft starts to go down hill now. Cross could be a good backup or decent starter.
