Tuna sandwich on wheat with a granola bar and cheese crackers. Girlfriend packed it and put an I love you note on the bag. Awww.

I know. I tell her every day not to, but she does it anyway. She's a teacher so she wakes up super early, several hours before I wake up, and this is when she packs my lunches. She's sneaky.

And yeah I'm in finance - investment banking - selling swaps to hedge funds and asset managers. Essentially my team provides leverage for hedge funds, i.e. fuelling the bad shit in the world that has helped lead to the credit crisis we are currently in... erm... yeah. It's been slow recently and at times there's not much to do. When it's busy, it's stupidly busy, but when it's slow it can be ridiculously slow. Depends on the markets and depends on the clients, but seeing as we're in a credit crisis and it's hard to borrow at the moment... clients haven't been so active over the summer and taking their time to pick up the pace again. |
