Beard has been a solid contributor, but Lansing clearly has better attributes, and will likely be my starter at SF (barring a TC debacle).
Future picks are irrelevant to me if I don't make it past my contract year....
I like Lansing's ability to contribute at both ends of the floor.

Solid offseason additions of Bing and Lansing should hopefully help solidify my team. I still want a top-flight PF, but I'm starting to think I can make the playoffs even if I can't work out a deal for a big man.

Really? Thats all you have to say? I think Lansing and Wil Jones are a big upgrade from Beard and Irvine.
I don't see how this doesn't make me much more competitive.
