Who's been your favorite Sonic in this version of BBS?
Derrick Favors - He was a double-double machine and one of the best players in the league. I drafted him and had him on my team for most of his career. I was never offered good value for him until the day I traded him.
Rank the following GMs, and name one weakness for each of them.
Play - If he likes his team, he won't make moves. If he hates his team, he will trade anyone to get better. I'd say that his weakness is that he's somewhat stubborn when he likes his team, which can prevent him from being the best team.
Dan - He never rushes into trades, but often overvalues his players.
Jordan - Builds great cores and knows when and how to rebuild. Sometimes gets lazy and uncreative though.
Skillz - Skillz makes great trades and builds winners and then he destroys them by making hasty, awful trades and butchering his team.
Tiger - Great GM, but I have little to base anything on because he's so new to the league. Is online at odd, British hours.
Ebener - Gives up far too easily and waits too long to trade players.
What young team right now has the best future in BBS?
The Boston Celtics - an incredible core of Abdul-Jabbar, Unseld and Maravich
Comment on some of the new hirings (Kobe, Tiger, Bryan, Pig, Andrew). Are they good additions? Anyone you didn't want to be in BBS?
Kobe - Have dealt with him in UOSLR and he likes to wheel and deal, so I look forward to trading with him. Sometimes he doesn't answer PMs.
Tiger - One of my all-time favorites. Great hiring.
Bryan - Don't know much about him. Welcome aboard.
Pig - Keeps the league entertaining
Andrew - If he's into the league, he's a great GM
No complaints overall.
Who's the one player you'd pick to build a winner around this year?
Jim Barnett - Hands down the best and most valuable player in the league in my opinion.
Call out one GM and explain why he bothers you, or why he's not a good GM.
Martinez. Probably an easy pick, but he's a shit disturber whose teams are rarely good and doesn't step up until his CY.
What, if anything, would you change about BBS?
I would love to see more articles.
BBS recently went through a bit of a lull. Do you think it's back?
Absolutely. I love that Spencer wants to speed things up and I think that will definitely stimulate more interest and activity.
