Grizzlies Trade:
Neil Walk Jerry Sloan Butch Beard
Hornets Trade:
Billy Cunningham Mike Smith Billy Jones
I agree. Really a trade that could make or break a season. This will either really pay off or turn our team to shit. Basically, we have enough depth to do something like this and the intrigue to it was too good to pass up. Cunningham is a historic under-performer but if he is ever going to play to his ratings, this is where he'll do it. Slow, inside offense, as a SF.
Sloan is good, but he's a 5th starter. Walk is going to be a good starter but i can afford to give him up because i have rory/brody/johnson. Beard has nice ratings but i don't know what he projects at really.
We might be the best rebounding team in 'BBS history. A rebounding C, A- rebounding PF, A rebounding SF, B- rebounding SG, B rebounding PG. Should make up for a potential TO problem, but we have 2 starters who average less than 1 to which should counter billy and irish.

I love that Jeff got some value for Cunningham after he realized he sucked.

Haha, guess you didn't get my PM. I agree anyway though. I get a bunch of things that are very useful for me.
Basically I've traded: Earl Monroe Dennis Meyer
for
Bill Buntin Neil Walk Jerry Sloan Butch Beard 2032 Hornets 1st
I think that's pretty solid. My team is looking nice, for the future and the present.

I love that Jeff got some value for Cunningham after he realized he sucked. Ya, Jeff definitely wins here. No doubt Cunningham has had a mediocre career but i can't think of a more perfect fit for our offense. Going slow should decrease to's. IDK, hopefully it works. I like talented players and Sloan/Walk/Beard weren't huge contributors.

I like that Jeff gets some young depth that he can move for players he desires. He has enough talent to win big, just a matter of him doing it.

I actually wanted to keep Cunningham, my team has been playing great since I got him. I just really couldn't pass up this deal, It gives me a ton of flexibility. I think I've improved my teams situation quite a bit.
Also Spence this probably puts me over the cap, don't even bother posting I'll be back under in a few.

Jeff wins this trade, but loses when it comes to his breakdown Meh, I'm not done yet. Also why is everyone so horny about Earl Monroe? I would take Walk, Sloan, and Beard for him any day. Meyer is nice, but he's 32 expiring and getting worse, I'll take Buntin and the flexibility of having my own pick. You also have to realize that I was over the cap and had 4 legitimate players when I took over the team. I think I've done pretty well.

Maybe not any day, but considering my cap situation it was a sacrifice that had to be made.

I think you couldve kept Monroe and Reed though. Awesome young duo.
