1. Chicago - Julius Erving SF 6'6'' 200 22 A- C+ C A- C+ A
No brainer #1 pick and a future star. Bulls need this badly. This guy should be a 30PPG guy that is also 1st team All-Defense. Absolute stud.
2. San Antonio - Bob McAdoo PF 6'9'' 210 21 B+ C- C B B- A
I miss spoke in the draft notes about McAdoo because I forgot about Dr J. McAdoo is sick though. Very good inside scorer with the ability to be a good defender and rebounder. Spurs need a big too so its perfect.
3. Philadelphia - Paul Westphal SG 6'4'' 195 21 B- B- B- C+ D+ A
Westphal is a nice combo guard that gives the Sixers flexibility in their rebuild. Probably a SG, but he does have some passing skills and will be a very nice player for them.
4. Utah - James Silas PG 6'1'' 180 23 B+ C C+ B- C- A
More of a SG then a PG, Silas and Archibald will be a extremely small backcourt. Probably not an ideal situation but Silas is the last of the big 4.
5. Golden State (from LA Clippers) - LaRue Martin C 6'11'' 208 22 B- C- D+ B- B- A
Draft drops off a lot after the top 4. Martin has some intriguing qualities but scouts are split on him. Could be very good, or very mediocre.
6. LA Lakers - Don Buse PG 6'4'' 190 22 C+ C+ C A C- A
Lights out defender. Like really nasty. Should be interesting to see what kind of stats he puts up as a starter.
7. Milwaukee (from New Jersey) - Bud Stallworth SG 6'5'' 190 22 B B- C C C- B
Solid scoring spect that needs to work on his defense a ton.
8. Milwaukee - Kevin Porter PG 6'0'' 170 22 C+ C A- C D A
Great passer that needs to work on other aspects of his game.
9. New York - Chris Ford SF 6'5'' 190 23 B- C C+ A- D+ B
Ford is a nice defender that could be a solid 5th starter in BBS. Hard worker so he may get better.
10. Philadelphia (from Miami) - Steve Hawes C 6'9'' 220 22 B+ C C C+ C+ B
Solid inside scorer that has some upside. Probably a bench forward.
11. New York (from Denver) - Henry Bibby PG 6'1'' 185 22 B- C B- B C- B
Very solid PG. Knicks don't need a PG, but he's the BPA here.
12. New York (from Dallas) - John Gianelli C 6'10'' 220 22 C+ C C- A- C+ B
Very good defensive big. Could develop into a solid bench player.
13. New Jersey Nets (from Atlanta) - Mickey Davis SF 6'7'' 195 22 B C+ C B B- B
Interesting combo player that can do it all. Might be a starter or at the very least a very good backup.
