great 4-0 sim. and four wins against great competition.
our team has just as much talent as any other team in this league. it was just about finding a good dc to cover up our weaknesses. we suck at scoring, so it made more sense to get as many shots as possible. our defense is still lights out.
still a long way to go. 2.5 out of the 8 seed, but we just have to keep coming up with winning sims, and we'll be in good shape.

0-3. Brutal sim. Lost by 3 to the pistons without jason kidd. Then for some reason we get torched by the heat. No one had a good game really, we turned it over 18 times. Then we lose by three to the spurs. ugly.
Nothing to worry about though, just one of those sims.

That fight for the 8th seed should be awesome in the East. Celtics, Hornets and Pistons.

Big 4-1 sim for us. We went 3-1 without Zo thanks to Hill having some awesome games (including 1 triple double). PJ Brown and Eddie Jones also stepped up huge in Zo's absence, and then Zo comes back and we put up 120 in a win while he puts up 40. We're playing good ball right now, and we knocked off the Lakers in this sim. We're now sitting atop the West by 1.5 games with the 2nd best record in the league.
The EJ trade really seemed to be big for us because it moved him into the lineup and forced me to go to an Inside focus since Reggie was now my backup 2/3. With the inside focus, 'Zo has just been a beast, and Hill has been playing near a triple double a lot of nights.

Id consider trading Cassell for someone who could score inside as well, but its hard to make another deal when youre playing so well.

Yea, I can't say I've been considering Cassell but it has crossed my mind as far as possiblities were concerned. But he's dishing the ball quite well ever since we've gone to the Inside focus. He was playing well before that, but he's been in double figures assists most games since then.

Really good 3-1 sim. Beat the Knicks twice as I should, killed the Spurs, and then had a tough 7 point loss to Detroit. That sucks, oh well.
Game 1 against the Knicks was just an unbelievably efficient game from my top 3. Baron (16-22 for 37), Manu (14-24 for 34), and AK (9-12 for 20) were outstanding, shooting a combined 39-58. One of my favorite box scores ever. Baron had 37-8-8 with no turnovers, and Manu had 34-9-9. Wow. Battie had 12 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Game 2 was a more narrow 11 point win over NYK, with Manu leading the way with 25. No real standout efforts. Looks like Baron might have gotten hurt or something, limited minutes.
Game 3 was a great win over San Antonio, 113-96. I wish I was in the West. Manu had 32, Dalembert and Battie had 3 block apiece, and Baron put up a ridiculous 18 assists. So awesome.
Game 4 was a tough loss to Detroit. I was up 9 at the half, and tied going into the 4th. Come on. Gave up 20 to three different players, damnit. No one really showed up. Gave up too many threes. God damnit.
I'm sitting at 23-17 with a HUGE sim tomorrow. 3 games, all on the road: back to back against Detroit, and then against Washington. Come on.
