Alright, this is a little ridiculous Spence. I knew the guys here talked shit, but I thought it was like funny good natured shit. Dude, an hour after my plane lands I'm on the boards writing a summary like that about my team. A fucking hour. And for the record, that is how long all of my posts will be in the summaries thread. See, I don't know shit about you, so I'm gunna keep my mouth shut about how active of a GM you are, because, well, maybe you are more active than me. But I doubt it bud.
Why don't you trust your fucking commish? Spence KNOWS how active I am. I guess that a lot of you guys don't know shit about me, so it's cool if there's a some misunderstandings at first. I told Spence before he hired me that I was going to be leaving for my vacation in like 2 days. Originally, we had planned on just waiting it out and giving me the team after I got back, but we decided it would be good if I was able to put my own mark on the team before the draft and FA so I wasn't playing a season with KG's boys, especially when I was getting my draft pick back this year.
It was an honest mistake, so I'm not gunna hold it against you, but kindly shut the fuck up about things you don't know shit about. High and mighty motherfucker.

Some really exciting things to see about this team and some incredibly disappointing ones as well. I was hoping to land someone in FA but I really didn't have the time or the knowledge to make reasonable bids, so Spence tried to help me out but to no avail. I'm really glad to have Bobby back on the team, and he's playing very well. On top of that, after a nice TC and solid production RJ looks like he's going to be a stud for a long time coming. Collins had a decent TC and is also looking great as a starting center, and DeShawn has the potential to be a valuable swingman in the same role playing vein. And we're losing games, hopefully enough to miss the playoffs and add a lotto prospect to a solid young core already. Obviously the biggest upside is D-Mase. See ebener? This is why the price was so high. There aren't many guys in the league with scoring ratings like his, his defense has improved, he's a prolific scorer and damn good across the board otherwise. I don't know if any hype has been made about him from others since I haven't been here, but his statline is ridiculous - 26.6 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 4.2 APG, and 2.3 SPG on 46.1% from the field. Stud. The only real bad news is that the virtual K-Mart is an even bigger disappointment than the real K-Mart. Both have about as much chance of success as the store they share their nickname with. Overall, I think we're already heading in a very promising direction, which is nice to see considering I didn't have a lot of time to get this squad set up. Didn't we fire KG for inactivity and this guy is just talking about free agency in day 40? Great hire! Oh, and MAYBE you'll wanna check the fucking thread about my vacation on the main boards before posting something like this too. You know, the one that got tossed up YESTERDAY where Spence and eb explain that I'm on vacation? See, an ACTIVE GM checks threads before talking shit. |

Yeah man, I know, sorry for all the obscenities and shit ... don't take it as an attacking type of thing, it's kinda just how I talk.
I didn't mean to get all PMSing and what not, it's just that I'm very active GM ... and yeah, like I said, it's possible that Dave here (y'all can call me Alex or A2J, I'm not stressed either way) is 10 times as active as I am. Like I said in my introductory thread, me and Will are boys and he talks a bunch of bunk about you guys and your tendencies towards new GMs, but I just figured that since he's a pretty opinionated guy it'd be the type of thing the just happened with certain GMs. So on the day when I get back from my vacation (also, didn't know there was a vacations thread, so that's my bad) there's a thread asking for me to be fired and a guy talking shit about my activity, it can just set me off.
And the reason I'm on the boards now and now writing the essay I have due in like 11 hours (my train's in like 5 and I haven't packed yet either) is cause I wanna get my team sorted, like make DeShawn an SG and set a depth chart and post a trade block because I'm not gunna be around for a lot of tomorrow (the essay thing). The activity will be there with me, take my word for it.
No hard feelings, and again, sorry for overreacting a little bit. I think I'm naturally in defence mode just because of all the shit I've heard talked about your guys in the NBN, but I'll try to be a little more open and what not.

And I don't wanna start firing off stories yet, I was telling eb over in the NBN that I wanna get my hands on the pictures first so I can post them with the stories. You guys don't know shit about me, and some of the shit that happened down there was RIDICULOUS, so it'd be easy to believe I'm just a shit talker. That's why I want to post with proof for all stories that we had camera's around for, so that way you'll know I'm not making the shit I can't actually prove up either, you know?
Here's what I can give ya - I'll pop on over to facebook and grab a few pictures of the hottest few girls we were down there with (some beauties, not quite as good as some of the randoms though) and give ya non-spring break pics. Though all of these girls instantly becomes hotter in a bikini and after 15 drinks ... trust me.
