Al Jefferson

School: Prentiss High School
Positions: Center
Strengths:
Jefferson has the look of a future superstar in this league. He has a very solid inside game, plays decent (although raw) defense, and he is an excellent rebounder. Big Al should be a double-double player his entire career and could be a franchise player. He has exceptional strength that often allows him to just bully players around in the paint. Jefferson is a tough man to deal with and that should continue should he enter the BBS draft this year. Scouts absolutely love the ability and potential of this kid.
Weaknesses:
Some feel that he will have trouble keeping up with quicker big men in the league. His tremendous size has some advantages, but it can slow him down at times. He has dominated the high school level because of his size, but that means his game is not technically sound in certain aspects. He has all the tools to become a great player, but it will be interesting to see how he does against people nearly as big as him.
