Strengths:
He has a very solid all-around game. His athletic ability allows him to drive to the basket, he has a good mid range shot, and he will even nail the occasional three point shot. His ball handling is excellent for a man his size and he can see the court well. Villanueva is a hard worker and a good athlete - scouts feel he could be a solid starter in the future. His good athletic ability allow him to garner quite a few rebounds.
Weaknesses:
His game is not very solid defensively. His defensive technique is not technically sound and he often seems disinterested in his own zone. Many scouts feel his game is fairly well developed, but they also do not see a lot of room for upside. Also, many fear that his riding to space on a bicycle will just interfere with his game.
