Monta Ellis 6'3" 176lbs Age:18 Position: G College:None(Highschool:Lanier HS)  Strengths:Fast as lightning. One of the quickest first steps in basketball since Scottie Pippen. Not a shooter, but a scorer who can light it up from anywhere on the court. Good size for a PG with much more room to bulk up. Weaknesses:Although he does have good size for a PG, he doesn't possess all the PG skills making him a "tweener." Average ball handler and passer. Average defender. Work-ethic is a question. Some question if he really is NBA ready? Notes:Super quick and athletic. Should be an elite type scorer in the BBS, despite his attitude problems. Lock for lotto for certain. Potential Rookie Ratings: B- C+ C+ C+ C A Yep, Spencer's a homer. |

The reason he was drafted so low because he was the OJ Mayo type in HS, obviously now in the NBA he's matured alot, but that was one of his biggest knocks and the reason why he fell. |

He should be a stud scorer. With his handles, defense, and size, it will be interesting to see if he falls to late top 10 or gets taken even earlier.
