Andrew Bogut 11/28/84 Center 7-0 242 Utah Strengths: Pretty solid post player. Has a pretty sweet jump shot from 18 feet out. Good passing and handling for a big man. He can rebound well. Great size and strength. If he has good potential he can be a really solid big man in this league where centers are hard to find. Weaknesses: Does not have great speed, and will not jump out of the gym. Still needs to work more on his shot, can be inconsistent. Potential is a concern. Potential Ratings: B- C C C+ C+ A

Bogut>Lee.
Not sure why Lee's ratings are so much better than Bogut.

You're flat out wrong. David Lee is a much better player than Bogut. Bogut's been given so many more chances, and last I checked he was doing 13/9/1.5...awfully unproductive so late in his career, and he plays horrendous defense. Lee is a top rebounder in the league (always been one of the most productive per 48) with massive FG%s, great ballhandling and just a lot more to contribute to a team.

He should be starting with a slightly better rebounding rating though. And he's shown strides this season - his blocks have doubled to 1.8, his scoring and rebounding are decent at 13.6 and 9.4, and he shoots good percentages.
But yeah, Lee is a superior player for sure.

PPG RPG APG BPG Bogut: 13.6 9.4 2.6 1.8 10.2 8.6 1.1 0.3 Sure Bogut plays like 5mpg more, but still. I don't see how that proves Lee is a better player. I've only seen both play a couple times. But I thought Bogut looked better both times I've seen him play.

I don't see Bogut enough to make a fair comparison however if you go solely based on numbers I like Bogut better however I do like Lee's game a lot and if he wasn't on the knicks or had a racist as a coach David Lee would be doing a lot better.

One reason his rebounds are down is the amount of minutes he plays alongside Randolph. Randolph takes shots result in defensive rebounds almost always. Lee's the much better rebounder, and he's better around the basket. Bogut hasn't shown the same range he had in college. Lee has had like one play run for him in his career, whereas whenever the Bucks actually decide to have possessions (as opposed to Williams or Redd just firing), they go through Bogut a lot. You can't compare numbers with these two guys. Lee has massive impact on a game, and I really think Bogut's going to be a good center, but he's just not very good. If he was any good by now, don't you think the Bucks would be considerably better? I think Lee is a much better player than Bogut is.

Meh, I really can't argue too much, cuz like I said, I haven't seen either play a lot. Lee is a really good rebounder, I'll give him that. And he definitely doesn't get much love from the knicks organization. I'm just curious, what ratings would you give to Lee and Bogut right now?

As current NBA players: Lee: B C C B- A- A I think his jumping and his amazing sense of where the basket is really make him a legit inside threat. He can double pump in air, he can reverse, and he times his dunks really well. He's a fine defender, maybe B-. He's a top big man from the foul line (I wonder if anyone's higher than him, actually), but is too hesitant on his midrange shot which has made it less of a threat. Puts the ball on the floor really well, and is a good passer, but he has low assists. Just a ridiculous rebounder. Bogut: B- C C+ B- B Yeah. Inflated points because of his minutes and touches. His jumpshot has really not translated to much in the NBA. Not good from the foul line. Good passer. His blocks have skyrocketed, but he's not a good defender at all. Rebounds aren't bad at all. He is definitely improving.

Lee is a very capable scorer. Knicks guards don't penetrate enough anymore, otherwise his scoring would be way higher. He has great fg %s every year. Definitely much better than a C+ inside.

Aight, I could see lee with B- inside scoring. He dunks a shitload too. But honestly, if he is that good, how come he hasn't done much for one of the shittiest teams in the league. 10.5ppg in almost 30 minutes isn't too impressive.

You don't watch the Knicks enough to understand. They have zero flow offensively. Either Crawford dribbles and pulls up, Robinson dribbles and pulls up, Robinson drives, Randolph gets the ball and take a hideous jumper, or they turn it over. That's the Knicks on offense. Oh, except when Wilson Chandler comes in and takes his shots. Not much else.

And btw, when I saw Robinson against the blazers OMG. That dude is the shit. I want him.
