1. Utah Jazz- Chris Paul PG 5'11'' 175 20 C+ B B+ C+ C A
The unanimous number one pick, Paul gives the Jazz a franchise player immediately. Paul is going to be a top 3 PG in this league for at least a decade. It is going to be difficult for Andy to not win 20 games with a player like Paul next season.
2. Milwaukee Bucks- Andre Iguodala SF 6'6'' 207 21 B- B- B- B- C+ A
Iggy is quickly becoming the consensus second pick. The Bucks come up huge here. Iggy is the perfect fit for a team that already has three very good young players. He is going to be one of the best all around players in the league.
3. Chicago Bulls- Luol Deng SF 6'9'' 220 20 B C C C+ C+ A
The Bulls need an immediate impact player for next season. Deng will be one of the top candidates for Rookie of the Year next season. He will also have high value next season. This will allow the Bulls need to deal him for a star to save attempt to save Play’s job.
4. Los Angeles Clippers- Monta Ellis SG 6'3'' 175 18 B- C+ C+ C C A
The Clippers already have three future starters on their team. Monta Ellis is a great fourth addition. He could easily develop into a #1 option and play either PG or SG. The Clippers will be one player away from being a contender for a long time.
5. Phoenix Suns- Andrew Bynum C 7'0'' 285 18 C+ D+ D+ B- C+ A
The Suns come up huge here. They are in no hurry to win, and Bynum will not be an impact player for a few more seasons. The Suns can easily be in the top 5 again come next season.
6. Washington Wizards- David Lee PF 6'9'' 240 22 B- C C+ C+ B A
David Lee is a great fit beside KG. He should be an option scorer one day. He doesn’t have a big weakness in his game. The Wizards are a player or two away from being a playoff team again.
7. Cleveland Cavs- Danny Granger SF 6'9'' 228 22 C+ C+ C B+ C+ B
James is entering his contract year. He needs an impact player. Granger will be one of the best rookie players out of this class. He could easily start or come off the bench and play multiple positions. No matter who the Cavs select here, they are going to need more help to make the playoffs next season.
8. Portland Trail Blazers- Marvin Williams SF 6'9'' 230 19 B- C C+ C+ C+ A
The Blazers already have their frontcourt of the future. Marvin would be a nice addition to this team. The Blazers would have one of the better inside scoring teams in the league if they can add Marvin.
9. Sacramento Kings- Andrew Bogut C 7'0'' 242 20 B- C C C+ C+ A
The Kings needs a lot of help for the future. Bogut is the safest pick with star potential at this point. The Kings will need to start piecing together talent for Scott’s contract year in 2 seasons. If he doesn’t, Scott will be in James or Play’s shoes come next offseason.
10. Toronto Raptors- Gerald Green SG 6'6'' 200 18 B- C+ C- C C A
The Raptors are free to take a gamble with one of their two lottery picks. Green could be a great scorer in this league. A backcourt of Green and Tony Parker could average 50ppg in a few seasons.
11. Toronto Raptors (from Boston)- Jason Maxiell PF 6'7'' 250 22 B C- C- C+ C+ B
DJ has consistently drafted players who are supposed to be shot blockers in this version of BBS. Maxiell has already been labeled as one and should be a legitimate starter in a few seasons.
12. Sacramento Kings (from New Orleans)- Charlie Villanueva SF 6'11'' 232 20 B- C+ C+ C C+ B
Villanueva is someone who should be good enough to help the Kings win in two seasons. He also is a good value pick at this point that fills a hole in the Kings future.
13. Phoenix Suns (from Memphis)- Fran Vazquez C 6'11'' 234 22 B- C- C- C+ C+ A
The Suns can take wait for Vazquez to come over in as long as two seasons. When Vasquez does come to the BBS, the Suns will be ready to compete again.
14. Los Angeles Lakers (from Philadelphia)- Channing Frye C 6'10'' 247 22 B- C- D+ B- C+ B
The Lakers can gamble on a raw but possible high potential guy here. I think it makes more sense to add a solid big man. Frye should be at least a double-double player in his prime.
15. San Antonio Spurs- Ike Diogu PF 6'8'' 255 21 B C C C+ C+ B
The Spurs are looking to shake up their roster so this pick is likely to be traded. If they keep their roster the same, look for them to add a big man.
16. Memphis Grizzlies (from New Jersey)- Louis Williams PG 6'2'' 175 18 C+ B- C+ C D+ A
Martinez is in trouble in the long run. He needs to get lucky in the draft of free agency to add good talent back to his team. Williams could be a bust, but he could end up as a very good point guard. This is a risk the Grizz have to take.
17. Toronto Raptors (from Houston)- Josh Childress SF 6'7'' 200 22 B- B- C C+ C+ B
Childress should be a good backup at SG/SF in this league. This is a great addition to the young core that DJ has put together.
18. Los Angeles Lakers- Shelden Williams PF 6'9'' 250 21 C+ D+ C- B- B- B
The Lakers need to keep rebuilding their front court and Shelden Williams is a step in the right direction. He should be at least a solid big man. He could develop into a nice compliment of Frye though.
19. Atlanta Hawks (from Minnesota)- Nate Robinson PG 5'9'' 180 21 B C+ B C+ C+ C
The Hawks need to add a backup PG for next season. Robinson provides that immediately and could develop into a starter one day.
20. Utah Jazz (from Seattle)- C.J. Miles SG 6'6'' 210 18 C B+ C C D+ A
Miles should be a good bench scorer later on in his career. For the time being, he can be one of CP3's favorite options on the wing.
The unanimous number one pick, Paul gives the Jazz a franchise player immediately. Paul is going to be a top 3 PG in this league for at least a decade. It is going to be difficult for Andy to not win 20 games with a player like Paul next season.
