Well, if we had Rip, it looks like we would've won game 1 since Mash got lit up defensively and only gave us 16 points in 44 minutes of action.
Eh, we just haven't been able to defend Allen and VC all season. We'll see how Rip does as a starter. Miller's out for them as a backup, so maybe Mash can have a good series from here on out.

2-1!We took game 1 forcing turnovers and Blake and Baron going off! Morris Peterson and Blake were great in that game. We won 106-89 and to hold them to 89 and win game 1 by 17 in their home court is sick. Game two we didn't play any defense whatsoever. Tmac went off but that wasn't the problem, they had a good game offensively and thats it. We took game 3 with good production from our bench 111-105. Baron is scoring 30+ a game and Blake has been playing great. The role players are stepping up and knocking down 3 pointers. Up 2-1, i like the position we are in.

Off to a good 2-1 start, stole the homecourt which is nice since I feel the Sonics are a more talented team. I'd love to play spoiler here though, just because a Grant Hill-Mike Dunleavy matchup in the second round is absolutely tantalizing. Our team went as Dunleavy went - he had a 5-18 stinker in our only loss but put up two huge contests in our wins:
17 pts, 11 asts, 5 rebs, 4 stls in Game Two 18 pts, 15 asts and 3 rebs in Game Three
He's third in the playoffs with 11.3 APG
