My teams in trouble? It's 10 days in. A2J, I've been to the finals in this sim, something you will never do. With the core I have plus the mountains of picks, once I've finished trading you will seriously need to stfu. Dirk is more valuable than your whole team, please stfu.
My team has direction, we have pieces to move and pieces to trade. We have a future. Honestly, if you say that your team has one, then your fucked. My teams future >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> yours.

Yes, your team is in trouble. Unless you make a deal, you only have two players in Boozer and Dirk who have proven they can contribute.
Honestly, you should probably be PMing me about Jason Kidd. I don't know why you haven't.
I agree with you about Dirk, stupid. Your reading comprehension is terrible.
However, the rest of your team is pretty balls. TJ is turnover prone, not a great passer, and a defensive liability. He's Telfair with a better jump shot. Bogut is a raw rookie who has no place in the starting lineup for a team trying to make the playoffs. Gordon has real nice ratings but has yet to show he can produce anything at all.
Last time I checked, you have 6 picks in the next 3 years. I have 6 picks in the next 3 years. You have one high level prospect, some mid level prospects and one stud player. I have two high level prospects, some mid level prospects and one stud player. And I don't have to worry about the contract year for three more years, whereas you are likely going to have to sacrifice some of your future to ensure you don't get hit by it this year.
So ... explain to me how your future is better than mine? And ... what exactly is your team's direction? And ... why are other GMs picking you to get fired because of the contract year and voting for me as GMOY when you're so much better than me? And ... what have you done except sign Baron and draft a bunch of mediocre players?
Shit, my second round pick in Arthur Johnson is a better prospect than TJ and Bogut.

Hahaha I just realized how quickly this turned into a serious argument.
We should probably make some sort of bet regarding our teams so we can talk shit to each other the whole season.

a) I haven't PM'd you about Kidd because getting contracts to match is to hard.
b) If GM's want to pick me to get fired, thats up to them, I don't care even though I find it puzzling.
c) Your teams future is not better than mine.
d) Rofl at Arthur Johnson. Bogut had one of the best TC's in the league and his defense went up in RC's..
Btw - I am looking at the correct team yeah? Minnesota? The one with Jason Kidd and.... yeah?

Arthur Johnson put up 7 PPG in 13 MPG last year.
Bogut is putting up 8 PPG in 28 MPG this year.

Ok, here's a bet. I bet you that I'll be ranked ahead of you in the GM rankings that Habes is doing right now.

And I'm sure that everyone would take TJ over Dunleavy and West.

I probably would like the bet to be on something more...factual ie. right/wrong, yes/no, not opinions...

We can do it for the basic big man categories: PPG, RPG, BPG, FG%
If either guy wins 3 of those 4 categories, then the GM who wins gets to take any pick they want off of the loser's roster.

Also James, I love you in this league and don't want to see you get fired but you haven't done shit here so don't act like you have. You inherited Spence's championship Warriors team last sim, then took a 4 yr rebuild and still didn't have a winner(yes you had future talent but not enough to make it past the contract year but we stopped the league). Then you traded a goo chunk to move up in the creation draft to get both Webber and Z and made it to the finals year 1. Congrats.

Ok I just got back from the bar so I[ ton eactly 100# right now.
But I can't bet overall record with Jame cuas our teams are going different directios right now. Whch is why I figued bogut vs johnson would be good, cause he seems to think this bogut bitch is actually decent whene he's a typical aussie pussy (like james) who needs a haircut (get a FUCKINA haricut kames!) when jhnson is a fucking beast.

James - my team is rebuilding. That is our direction. We won a bunch last year, now the contract year is not a concern, so I'm rebuilding. I know that might be hard to understand because it's a very complicated and intricate plan, but hopefully I explained it carefully enough that you get it.

I don't want to lose James to the Contract year. he is one of the better GMs and his activity and creativity are pluses.

I think he's a move away from being fine. Apparently he had a Duncan deal in the works and that would've easily been enough. He knows what he has to do and he'll get it done. I just think he might have to sacrifice more than he is intending on in order to become a playoff team - I think that he sees the talent level on his current team as being far higher than it actually is.
