DJ, nobody is brainwashed by anything. You are irrelevant, that's all. You aren't proactive in trading at all--I've dealt with you literally hundreds of times in trading, and was SHOCKED when you offered me the TMac deal because a) you've never not lowballed me and b) you usually dance around offering for literally an hour. Talking to you on AIM is a massive exercise in patience because you don't respond at all.
My quick hits:
You have a huge ego, a lot of us do, you show it constantly, don't pretend you don't.
Stop downplaying credibility in a sim league. You're arguing someone, the worst tactic is to belittle them or the topic and then go right back at it.
You are notorious for being the only guy to consistently employ the method of getting the worst out of his DC in order to tank. The other guys who tank are willing to actually part with talent to rebuild. Now that it isn't working for you, you blame other guys for hiding from trading with you (you have nothing to offer, actually) and point the finger everywhere else. The reality is, your strategy was basically to cheat and now that everyone caught onto it and Spence outlawed it, you're flat out of ideas. You're a nice guy though, so you took on Lumley as your assistant as a gesture of appreciation for letting you fleece him in order to build your teams.
So, what's the case? A) Every GM has been brainwashed and won't trade with you or B) Lums isn't in BBS anymore, and your tanking DCs have been outlawed?
Hmm. Tough one!

That's wonderful. DJ, when I talk about credibility, I don't mean as a GM, I actually meant as a person. Your typical response to anyone when they say something negative about you is to act like they're below you, aka put yourself on a pedestal. Then when you write something like your initial comment to me, that credibility that you'd seemingly gain by putting yourself on the pedestal is lost. Smart guy like yourself should get that. After all, you finally won a cup in that hockey league of yours (actually, I don't know why I said that, because I legit think that hockey thing is sick).

You're just a fucking idiot aren't you? I don't care if anyone tanks, and I don't care if anyone rebuilds. Look at ANY of my posts and you'll see that. Go look at my most recent post in Dave's (I think Dave's) hotseat and you'll see that. You had the fourth pick in the BBS2 draft, and tanked purposely with amazing talent to the point where Spence had to come up with the contract year. It was the DJ rule. You would tweak your DC after winning sims, and keep it when you started to lose. No, I have not done that. I have my best team on the floor, and I've changed my DC after every trade I've made. I traded my talent and have absolutely nothing right now with the exception of a raw Deron Williams. You kept your talent and tried every slimy method in the book to lose games and grab more talent. Was any of it illegal? No, so save the BS that you played within the rules. I don't care. The fact is, you're not going to have a title contender in this league ever because the new version of BBS takes away your ability as a GM. But I'm sure you got to that comment I made previously, so I'll keep reading.

At this point, the weaker GMs aren't close to what the weaker GMs were in your "heyday". Obviously you didn't ONLY deal with weaker GMs, but you built your teams primarily off of those deals. The Durant deal last BBS was a huge exception, and definitely not the norm so don't tout it as such. As for people being brainwashed into not wanting to trade with you, seriously? Am I arguing with Reilly here, who can legitimately make that comment? No one worries about trading with you. You probably just think that because your lowballing BS isn't accepted anymore because the GMs are too good. It cracks me up that you actually think that. Wow, people fear trading with DJ? That's news to me. People just don't take your crap anymore.

Haha, I can't get over the idea that people fear trading with DJ. And I just love that you fail to see the distinction between "tanking" like my current situation and tanking the way you once did.
But yeah, you don't use this as a means to boost your ego. Now go ramble on for another 500 words about how great you are.

I dont now if afraid to deal with DJ is the word. But I do now that gms understand that DJ asks for more then they would liek to give so of course gms back away. But most of the gms always want more in this sim. Aaron DJ wanted me to be his assistant bcoz he new that he would be very busy and he new I keep track of the BBS. Just to make sure he doesnt miss anything. Ive known DJ for a very long time know and he does sometimes beat around the bush in deals but I understand he is thinking it over. You guys are all too sensitive for the most part lol. Most of you guys lie about not caring about the sim lol. Fuck you guys all seem like you will die just to talk normal talk to people if its not about the BBS or you close friends.
