Im thinking about tearing this down, I can't get the third piece I want to feel like a legitimate contender. In essence I want to deal EB and JJ for a solid young guy and picks. That is really it. If the offer doesn't come along then so be it.

I am pretty sure I said "I really think I need Amare back in any deal." Wait, in fact I did say that but you continued to ride the same Chandler and pick train that I made clear I don't want. I didn't mind your offer, but when I say no I don't want to do it seems like it is a fucking open invitation for you to hassle me into doing it. You had blocks up before for Brand saying you were looking to deal him yet still compete. I offered you a ton of pieces that would help you win now + gave future considerations you said "no" seriously I think you have no clue what the fuck you want to do and make up bullshit blocks and disappear from the league for a week. Get it together! Everyone in the league wants Brand but you'll manage to say there is no interest and we'll restart this cycle in 7 days

If I am rebuilding then I am not making my centerpiece Tyson Chandler with his max contract, I am getting future picks, maybe a stud guy on a rookie contract and tanking. I am getting expiring as well. The deal makes no sense for the correct way to rebuild. Everyone probably is interested in Brand. The guy is a 26 and 12 guy, how many of those do we have in the league. He is an amazing passer from the post and he blocks a couple shots a night. Obviously I probably am overrating him in trade talks but few have come remotely close to a deal that I wouldn't get slammed in the thread. It irritates me and angers me when I get lowballed. It angers me when someone tries to bully me into something I don't want to do. I don't understand what the big deal is with just leaving it alone and moving on. Honestly, how many deals have you gotten complete by just busting a GM's chops continuously into doing what you want? |
