Id like to preface this Mock with the fact that this will be a tough draft for a lot of teams. Good luck! ![8-)](http://forums.lakersground.net/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif)
1.Utah Jazz - Brandon Roy SG - Pretty obvious selection for Utah. They wont pick Rudy Gay, but if another team lands at #1, Gay might go first. Roy and Chris Paul will be a sick multi-dimensional backcourt. They should combine for 45 points and 15 dimes a night.
2. LA Lakers - LaMarcus Aldridge PF - The Lakers have a stud SF in Josh Smith so they don't need Rudy Gay. They could take Gay, and that'd be a great selection but it's more likely they'll go big and get Aldridge. Big time centers are hard to come by, and it's apparent Aldridge can play the 5.
3. Boston Celtics - Rudy Gay SF - Celtics are pretty happy to see Gay fall to 3. Gay has the ability to be a plus defender and rebounder at SF, as well as a 20+ PPG scorer. Manu Ginobili and Gay should be a nice 1-2 punch for the Celtics rebuild.
4. New Jersey - Al Horford PF - The Nets only have 1 piece to build around right now and thats Deron Williams. In Horford they get a solid defender and rebounder that could become a 15 or 17 PPG guy. Nets still have a lot of work to do.
5. Phoenix Suns- Andrea Bargnani PF - 5 is probably the toughest spot in the draft. The Suns need some big men so Bargnani seems to be their choice, but he has some huge question marks, and his defense is atrocious.
6. Houston Rockets - Al Thornton SF - Thornton could step right in as a rookie and start at SF, moving McGrady to SG. Thornton should be a solid scorer and rebounder from the 3 spot.
7. Sacramento Kings - Rajon Rondo PG - The Kings don't need a PG, but at this point Rondo has to be the selection. He is a big time defender who could be an All-Defensive team selection at some point. His offense is mediocre, but his ball handling and defensive should more then make up for it.
8. Memphis Grizzlies - Martell Webster SF - Grizz have a nice set of forwards in Ike Diogu and Jason Maxiell, so they probably need a big time scorer at SG. Webster is extremely raw, but h should be a very good scorer some day.
9. Houston Rockets - Paul Millsap PF - The Rockets get another selection and they get another BBS ready player. Millsap has uncertain upside, but he's a freak of a rebounder and he can score down low. He will be a nice 4th big man behind Zydrunas llgauskas, Jermaine O'Neal and Micheal Olowokandi.
10. Washington Wizards - Sergio Rodriguez PG - The Wizards need bigs and a young point guard. The bigs are few and far between in this draft so expect the Wizards to draft a 1. Rodriguez is an amazing ball handler and passer who should fit i perfect with Dwyane Wade and Luol Deng.
11. Toronto Raptors - Tyrus Thomas SF - The Raps get a nice athletic shot blocker type in Thomas here. Expect them to run a big lineup with Thomas at SF, Amir Johnson or Andray Blatche at PF and Al Jefferson at C.
12. Phoenix Suns - Adam Morrison SG - The Suns would love Thomas here, but instead they get another scorer. Best case, Morrison is better then Kevin Martin and starts at SG. Worst case, Morrison is a super sub that can score off the bench.
13. Philadelphia 76ers - Josh Boone PF - A bit earlier then someone would expect Boone to go, but the Sixers need more rebounders and size so he's a good pick for them.
