Jaron, Hinrich, Boone, Jamison, and Powell (+10 potential) are obviously the toughest to get. I wouldn't mind trading Jamison for a couple younger players. Jaron + picks or Boone could go for an upgraded big. Jamison + picks, Powell, or Boone could go for a younger upgrade. Hinrich could go for a stud at another position around his age.
Woo. Simple.

DeJuan Blair better dominate this league one day.
Also, Pops clearly has 100 potential. He's off limits.

I don't think Blair will even be an average NBA player. I am not saying that just because he plays for Pitt. He rarely impressed me this year and unless he changes something in the next 2 years changes I don't see him working out in the NBA.

He was one of the best freshman in the country this season. Blair far and away performed better than just about anyone thought. Plus, he played at C the entire year against some guys that had near 5-7" on him. The sky is the limit for him - I truly believe that.

I don't see how he is taller than 6'6. I think most of his success is from how much bigger/fatter than other players. I think he could develop into a very good inside presence at the NBA level, but I don't think he would have much else to offer. Unless he has a lot of talent around him, I don't see him being athletic enough to be successful or being able to develop enough to be successful.

i've been told the kid has a ridiculous jumper, he just didn't use it this season. dixon wants to utilize his face up game a lot more this season. no reason he can't be successful in the league.

Blair outplayed or played right along with Hibbert, Brockman, Padgett, and various other bigs. He's about 6'7" with a tremendous wingspan. He may struggle in the NBA for other reasons, but it certainly will not be his athleticism. He's one of the more athletic bigs in the Big East. He averaged 1.7 SPG and 1.1 BPG as a true freshman - that's impressive. I'm obviously a bit of a homer on this one, but you're a touch off base with Blair. He's a hell of an athlete.

I think he is a good athlete. I don't think he is a good enough athlete to be a 6'6 PF in the NBA. He needs to lose some weight or put on more muscle as well imo.
I don't think any big man in the Big East is a good comparison of any type of NBA talent this year. Joe Alexander played like it the last 8 games of the season but that was about it. Thatbeet did too but is still really raw in a lot of aspects of his game.
I am probably being a bit of a homer too. Maybe every game I watched Pitt play Blair sucked

Blair went toe-to-toe with him twice. Blair has the insane wingspan that allows him to play like a seven footer. Blair still has some work to do, but it will be more with improving his game than his physique. I do believe, like aaron said, that he has more face-up game than he displayed this season. He started utilizing his jumper a little more down the stretch but never with much consistency. He needs to really implement that into his game this year. I certainly don't think he needs to lose much weight - he's a very solid 250 right now. 6'7", 250 - pretty muscular and quick. He has all the physical tools needed to be an Elton Brand type player.

I thought he was listed a lot bigger than 250. I looked and it was only 265. Hibbert has gone from a top 8 pick to mid 20s. He won't be a good big man in the NBA. I see Blair turning out as a better version of Mike Sweetney. He should have 2 more years before he goes pro and could change my opinion of him by then
I like Gilbert and Hinrich
