Strengths:
Greg Oden is one of the most feared defensive big men to have ever come through the college ranks. Any shot put up within ten feet of this man is a candidate to take a seat in the first row. He should be able to translate his excellent defensive ability to the big house and this could make him the top pick provided he declares. Oden is a very good athlete for a man of his tremendous size and he uses that to his advantage at all times. He is a tough player to combat on the court. Shutdown bigs such as Oden are a hot commodity.
Weaknesses:
He will probably never dominate on the offensive side of the ball despite having a solid inside game. His offensive skill set is somewhat limited and he has no real mid-range game. Some also fear that he will be AARP eligible in about three years.
