Pretty much came to the conclusion since I'm really not crazy about any offers for Dirk that Nash is gonna have to go with him in any deal or can pretty much go for expirings and I'll just keep Dirk.

Kandi is a good SB and a solid center and can go for a decent future and expirings or nice young spect with potential and expirings.
Have had some decent offers for him but they are mainly with low firsts in this and next draft.
Like to get a decent future for him anyway.

You have had "stars" on your team and have made it into what it is today, a garbage team.
You've had tons of guys people would call superstars and basically traded them all away for garbage, me, the "biggest" star I've had is Artest and when I traded him he wasn't the player he is now.
I haven't been lucky in the draft or free agency like you have been and the bet with Dave messed me up.
As you can now see the team I've built from basically nothing speaks for itself. Just because I’ve only been to the playoffs twice(not once like you said) doesn’t mean jack. The point is I’ve never had anybody on my team that garnered enough interest from anyone besides my picks. I have picked a direction and stuck with it. In this one season you have traded to get better, and now are trading again to get worse. Why would you trade away Rudy Gay to get Roger Mason Jr. only to trade away RMJ for basically garbage?
You’re going to justify your inability to keep a good team in-tact by saying what I am doing? 2-3 seasons ago, sure say all you wanted about me, but now you just need to stfu and realize you probably made some of the worst trades in this league besides AllStars

illegal: not according to or authorized by law : unlawful, illicit; also : not sanctioned by official rules (as of a game)
No rules nor no precedent was set before me and Play made that deal, was it cheap? Sure, but was it illegal? Nope.

Yep, sometimes I act impulsively if I feel a team isnt performing well or up to it's potential. That team had a fundamental flaw. We could'nt play D worth a crap. It was built basically with a couple of good SB on the blocks and a lot of scorers on the wings D or not. It was'nt working. Plain and simple. TMac scores in bunches but he also gives up points in bunches. Same with Mason Jr. And Nash at PG is not a good defender. The team was flawed. I wanted Outlaw and Granger because according to draft notes they should be great defenders. I'm going to restart it and rebuild with guys that are great defenders ideally. That Hornets pick when all is said and done should be pretty good. Hopefully mine will be too. If I cant move Nash I'm gonna write a couple articles and post pad like a bitch and buy him out. It doesnt look like it right now but there is a plan in place. I won 50 some odd games last year but the team was flawed,which showed in the postseason. After basically playing .500 ball this year, it was obvious this team was'nt gonna do much,so why not start rebuilding now? Thats what I've done. If I dont get a couple nice young good defenders for Dirk he's probably staying. I dont have my pick next yr and I'm not gonna overpay Phx for it. I'll move Dirk next year. And having guys like Diogu and Maxiell come in and produce like they are isnt luck? The 29th and 16th pick in the draft respectively. If it was someone thats done something criticizing me hey, whatever, I'll take it. But you have done ZIP in any version of BBS to talk crap to anyone. You can get all pissed off and whine about that all you want but it doesnt change history and sure as hell doesnt give you a soapbox to stand on.. |

Greg's post - then what was the point of trading for your pick if your going to keep Dirk? Your screwing yourself over by not trading, to whatever team it is, Dirk . Also, your not overpaying for the pick if it's going to be essential part of your rebuilding. I said I was willing to amend the offer anyway. |
