Nick Calathes 6’5”, 185 lbs, Point Guard Projected Rookie Ratings: C B B C D B
Strengths: Great point guard. Pass first as shown by his tremendous freshman year at Florida. On offense, he is a wiz. Has a great outside shot, will be able to hit the longer three point shot. Has great passing ability. Great basketball IQ.
Weaknesses: His athleticism is weak. If he is to succeed, he must use his basketball IQ to his advantage. Unfortunately, on this level, it will likely not be enough. His terrible defense will hurt him against quicker point guards.
Outlook: If a team covets a strong outside shooter, Calathes will find a spot on a BBS roster. But with his horrible athleticism and defense, Calathes has an uphill battle if he wants to be a rotation player.
