Tyreke Evans Birthday:9/19/1989 Guard 6-5 205 Memphis Strengths: Natural scorer that could put up big numbers on any given night. Has long arms, flashy player that has the ability to fly through the lane. Has the ability to finish. Good ball handler, has the ability to create his own shot. Can shoot from anywhere on the court. He can run the fast break very well. Very interesting prospect that has the ability to become a star in this league. Weaknesses: Must improve his fundamentals. Lacks discipline. Needs to add strength. Has to become more motivated and intense when playing, lacks any sort of fire. Does not try on defense and needs to limit his turnovers on the next level. Potential Ratings: B- B C+ C C A Notes: Impressive young guard who may not be rady for the BBS just yet.

I guess the rule is that if you're an offensive prospect in BBS you gotta have C defense!

I guess the rule is that if you're an offensive prospect in BBS you gotta have C defense! Why do people always complain about D? I mean do you really want everyone to end up as an A- defender? If he has 100 potential he could be B+ A- B B C. Whats wrong with that?

If he has 100 potential he could be B+ A- B B C. Whats wrong with that? With 100 potential, I bet he's better than that. I wasn't complaining, but it'd be cool for some of the top guys to sacrifice some offense for defense. There are very few B/B+/C/A/C type of guys, but there are lots of Melo types coming in. It's not a complaint. Doesn't bother me at all, it was just a sarcastic observation. I remember in the old BBS guys like Calvin Natt had borderline starter value but were mostly backups. He was, what, A-/C/C/A/C? That kind of SF would be really cool to have in this league. Just seems to me that in these classes, the wing players are all the kind of guys who pan out mostly as scorers. I legitimately have no complaint there; I love your draft files every year and I'm not just saying that to sugar coat some gripe I have. Really was just noticing how weak some of the guards' defense is and got to thinking about other kinds of players we've had in the past.
