BJ Mullens
7’0” – 260 lbs – Center/Power Forward
Projected Rookie Ratings: B- C- C- C+ C+ A
Strengths: Big body with the frame to put on more weight. A very good athlete for someone his size. Tenacious on the glass. Definitely has the potential to be one of the top big men in BBS.
Weaknesses: White man syndrome. All big white centers coming out never live up to expectations and flare out. The word potential is thrown around a lot, and Mullens symbolizes this better than any other prospect in this draft.
Outlook: BJ Mullens should develop into one of the better big men if he fills his potential. Unlike most big, white centers, Mullens is a very good athlete, moves well, and isn’t all finesse. His development will be one of the more interesting stories out of this draft.
