I like the idea of a larger amount of keepers and a rookie and FA draft each year.
Lets say we have 10 keepers.
Then in April we have a 2 round rookie draft.
Then in August we have a 3 Round FA draft.
I think it'll increase the amount of activity for the BBSFFL.
2 RCs to the winner?

I also think itll be easier to run the league if we have more keepers.

I also think itll be easier to run the league if we have more keepers. I'm currently in a dynasty league where they keep their entire rosters.. I'll copy and paste the rules in a sec.

1. Must be active, it's a daily transaction league, more then a weeks absence without a prior explanation of the reason will result in you being locked and replaced next year. So if you’re going to be away please post in advance.
2. Must use a city name as your Team name, same one from year to year please. As there is no money involved we want to easily keep track of winners. You are permitted to use any nickname you would like for your team, but please stick to the same one you originally choose from year to year. (for example im from Dayton, Ohio so i chose the Dayton Gems)
3. This is a dynasty style keeper league. This means we keep all 19 players from year to year. All final roster decisions are to be made as soon as the league re-starts, thus you do not need to cut your roster down to 19 before the end of the season, you have until the end of the off season.
4. Rules on missing players. If a player has retired you get a blank spot, if a player is not in the yahoo data base at the time rosters are done his name will be posted in a list on the message board. You then get to decide whether he is yours or not. If you claim him you must pick the player up as soon as he clears waivers, otherwise he goes up for grabs. If you decide you don't want the player he follows the normal waiver rules. If another team picks up your player by waiver or FA before you get a chance, I will drop the player from their team and they will risk losing the player they dropped. If the owner uses his waiver to make the pick up he will stay at the bottom of the waiver list and risk losing the player he dropped.
5. Trades will not be vetoed just because some owners felt it was 1 sided. The only reason for a trade to be vetoed is if there is evidence of collusion, not if their is evidence of stupidly on 1 side. If you hit accept instead of reject by accident let me know or post ASAP other wise it will be a costly mistake. Remember this is a keeper league so player’s values can differ from 1 year leagues.
6. Trade wait times are 24 hours. The main league settings will be set for yahoo to process them after that period. For the preseason and the week prior to the trade deadline trades will be pushed through immediately after they are accepted and both owners have posted on the message board that the trade is legitimate.
7. Keep email addresses up to date and listed in the team and manager list. Keep a copy of mine for the off-season incase yours changes. I'll need a current email for everyone to get you back in the league next year.
8. If you decide not to return let me know ASAP so an adequate replacement can be found as quickly as possible.
9. Trash talking is allowed and welcomed, but if your going to, "diss", someone because of a trade offer, please do it privately, especially the names of players involved, not on a public post. We want to keep all trade proposals confidential.
10. The waiver order will be based on last season standings with the only exception being the two teams that made the final get the last and second last waiver selections
I mean most of these rules aren't THAT important but we could take some of it like the entire roster thing

I dont think we should have any more keepers in this league than what we agreed to last year. I know that I personally would have managed my roster differently down the stretch if we were keeping more than just 4.

I think 4 is a lot for football to start off with. The best part of any fantasy sport is the draft and taking that many guys out of play makes the league a less interesting imo. If we add keepers I think at least one keeper has to be a guy who was a rookie to keep the choices of keepers more interesting

I think I'm actually going to bump this from 4 to 6. With 12 teams... there's still going to be alot of guys worth drafting. And I like the idea of a rookie draft.
Winner of this year should recieve 2 RCs as well.
