New Jersey Nets 59-23
Nothing but Nets this past season as this may have been one of their best regular season’s in team history. Yes we know they won a title but we think this may have been the best team that Mark has ever assembled. He had scoring, balance, and defense but the Bucks stood in the way. It was a great season in the swamps of Jersey.
Philadelphia 76ers 47-35
The 76ers may have the most explosive offense in BBS led by 3 time MVP and future Hall of Famer Gilbert Arenas. The other unsung hero for the 76ers is Q-Rich who averaged 30ppg this past season. The 76ers however were unable to get over the hump into the Championship game. Look for Gilbert to ask for a trade this off season.
Washington Wizards 47-35
The Wizards put together another solid season led by Dwayne Wade. The Wizards however lacked the elite front court to compete for a BBS title. The Wiz however have a log jam of elite talent at the wing positions. It will be interesting to see if the Wiz can pull of a blockbuster deal this off season to land a big man.
Orlando Magic 36-46
The Magic have a plethora of young talent that is waiting to blossom until then they have enough veteran talent to be competitive. The Magic’s outside attack is similar to the style of the 76ers just not as potent. The Magic would have been sitting pretty if they didn’t go over the hard cap. Ouch!
Boston Celtics 34-48
Boston fans had a familiar season as the Celtics finished right at the middle of the pack. GM Keelty always puts together a solid squad but never a real winner. Are fans getting tired in Boston? A little but are they overly upset not really either. Keelty is a loveable face in Bean town and the marriage there may be for better or for worse.
New York Knicks 34-48
The Knicks are in rebuild mode and no one does it better or quicker than GM Outlawz. He is assembling a great amount of talent and before you know it they will be back atop of the league again. Until then Knick fans are booing in a sold out Madison Square Garden.
Miami Heat 23-59
The Heat are guarding up with hot prospects like AJ Price and Stephen Curry. They are 1 or two pieces away from having a really good core to build on but for right now they are cool with not being so hot in Miami. The Heat should get another lotto pick or two before their rebuilding process is all said and done.
