I doubt there has been a league compiled with the amount of good GMs that we have here. I think this will be a special league. It started off fast, but my move and the holidays has slowed it a bit. I think that the combination of GM talent and built in rivalries should make this very interesting.

The Celtics demise can't really come as a surprise. Kris hasn't had the best track record when it comes to winning with superstars. I mean Dwight Howard was easily the most wasted talent in the past BBS and he had a pretty damn good supporting cast and wasn't even a playoff team. He isn't active enough to go out an improve his team either he is more like a Veron and Jah who sits on their team and lets them ride. He is a pretty good GM but not a good coach and not nearly proactive enough to ever be a serious team in BBS.

^^
In the last BBS, had Shaq and Dwight. IMO should have went all out and either dealt Dwight for a guy like Kobe or Dirk (when Dwight was very young and producing 18-10) or deal Shaq whilst he was in his prime for a young superstar. He didn't do either, which meant they hosted a lot of 1st/2nd round exits, then Shaq retired and it was the same thing all over again.
In saying that, they just had an 8-1 sim hehe.

I was wondering how long it would be before someone said "anyone could have the best record in the league with Shaq on their team". I don't buy it. Five GMs passed on him, and another GM was willing to trade his pick so that I could draft him. I then made plenty of trades to surround him with good talent. I'm not after plaudits, but don't knock the fact that I've got the best record in the league by saying that anyone with Shaq on their team could have achieved the same claim. That's a really stupid and naive comment. You said before I joined the league that you "don't buy into [my] dominance". Don't turn around now and try and act like you're some kind of noble guy when you're blatantly not. You thought I'd suck, and I've proven you wrong. Hmmm, the GM that traded the 4th overall pick to you would technically be the 4th Gm that passed on Shaq... but, who is the 5th GM that passed on him?

Will, unrelated to any of this, but how old are you? Mark said you were 24 to me the other day, and I just realized you said you got into Oxford. Just wondering.

This is ironic for two reasons.
1. Like all James articles we get promised another article for the other conference the next day and like all James articles it never comes.
2. James would never write an article for his own conference in the previous BBS and now in the new BBS his first article is about his own conference.
Do you just hate me or something James!
