Eddy Curry is a huge question mark. He has the physical tools most scouts look for, but everyone we've talked to has doubts. They think he can be a very good scorer, but his defense may never come around...Kwame Brown is another hit or miss type. A couple of scouts love his size and athletic ability, but most scouts really don't trust his attitude. It seems as though most will pass on him...Troy Murphy is the opposite of Curry and Brown. Murphy is a hard worker, but he doesn't have the athletic ability most teams want. Murphy should be a good scorer and rebounder though...Tyson Chandler is the best defensive big man in the draft. he has legit C size and he can block shots. Teams will be fighting over his come draft night...Pau Gasol is the best big man scoring prospect. He should be a 20 point a night player at his peak...Zach Randolph is right behind Gasol at PF. He is gonna be a big time scorer as well, and probably a better rebounder then Gasol...Samuel Dalembert and DaSagana Diop are both gonna be nice defensive centers. Neither has an offensive game to speak of, although Dalembert seems as though he might be decent offensively one day...Mehmet Okur looks very raw, but he has a solid offensive game that could flourish give time. He is close in skill set to Murphy, but might be a better offensive player...Eddie Griffin is a very good shot blocker, and has a nice offense game for a bi man, but most scouts question his desire to get better. He's probably a late 1st round pick at this point....There are some solid big men to be had at the end of Round 1. Instead of taking risks on high potential guys, teams may be better off looking at players like Jarron and Jason Collins, Chris Andersen, Loren Woods, Steven Hunter, Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood...Gerald Wallace has been rising up draft boards because of his ability to defend. While his outside shot is mediocre at best, his inside game and his athletic ability have many teams drooling...Bobby Simmons is a solid SF spect that could start in the BBS soon. he has a good inside game, and is a solid defender. He'd make a nice mid to late 1st round selection...Joe Johnson is a future star. He is a definate top 5 pick, and should be the best player on his team within 5 years...Shane Battier is a perfect complimentary player. He loves to defend, and he makes smart decisions. He's also a pretty good 3 point shooter...Richard Jefferson is climbing the draft boards much like Wallace. RJ is a very good athlete that can play 2 or 3. He has shown recently that he may have the ability to become a top flight scorer as well...Jason Richardson is the most exciting player in this draft. He can dunk like few others. He has trouble ball handling still, but he can get to the rim and take it hard to the hole. Richardson is also developing a nice 3 point shot as well. He should be a great scorer in the BBS...Jamaal Tinsley is a pass first, defensive minded PG. He is very ready to play on the BBS level. Should be a great pickup late lotto...Tony Parker might just be the best player in the whole draft. Some like Richardson, others like Gasol, but the majority would take Parker. He's a very good scorer and ball handler that seems to have what it takes to be a star in the BBS.
