Position: Power Forward
Strengths:
He's a lot to handle down in the paint. His offensive game is solid while not spectacular. He's a very physical player but that can often lend him to being out of position or fouling. However, his huge frame allows him to be very effective defensively and especially on the boards.
Weaknesses:
For how physical a style he tends to play, Gates needs to find a way to get to the free throw line more often. He tends to try and float around outside the paint more than a guy his size should. Gates needs to plant his big frame down low and go at the opposition.
