1. What is your teams biggest weakness?
Age. I only had 3 guys eligible for weight rooms this past season, but on the same token it's been a big part of our success that we have veterans on the team. The age factor is going to cause us to rebuild sooner than a lot of teams who decided to go young right away.
2. What BBS team will win the title this year?
Philadelphia. I think that the 76ers have a really tough team to beat with Shaq inside plus the other role players surrounding him. The two other teams with good chances as well are Sacramento and Milwaukee. Both teams have good defenders on the wings and good defensive bigs. The Kings are also blessed with a center who can go toe to toe with Shaq on both sides of the ball.
3. Which BBS player would you want to build your team around?
Kobe Bryant. Kobe does everything for a team at shooting guard. He can score with the best in the league and still get a good amount of assists and rebounds. He also shoots efficiently and plays good defense. He's also still young.
4. Who is the best player in the 2002 Draft and why?
Dwayne Wade. 'Flash' already has a B+ inside scoring rating, and he could potentially have an A inside and easily an A- inside before all is said and done. With a little RC attention and good TCs, he could easily have B outside and B+ handles which would make him a great player at the SG position. If his defense can get into the B+ or A- range, he will be the best player in this draft.
5. Which future player are you most interested in seeing in BBS and why?
Lebron James. Being a Cavs fan in real life, this is a simple question. But Lebron's ratings as a draftee are always interesting to see, and it will be interesting in this league as well. Lebron will be a franchise changer for any team, and he also carries the "Lebron curse" with him. He should be a very interesting player to follow in his BBS career.
6. Which GMs is the easiest and most difficult to talk trade with?
For me, Reilly is the easiest to talk trade with. it seems like we both usually have something in mind beforehand and we get things done pretty quickly. If things don't seem to be going in the right direction, we usually don't push at each other to try and force something done.
Most difficult to talk trade with is sort of hard to say. For me, I'd probably have to say it's anyone who doesn't have AIM. While it's not that bad, it's obviously more difficult to converse about a trade over PMs when both of you aren't around and don't talk on AIM. No one person in specific though.
7. What is the worst part of BBS?
I never say anything when it happens, but the worst part of the league for myself is putting up with the stuff that Martinez posts at times. His responses are sometimes uncalled for and very sarcastic. Seeing as this is what I call the worst part of the league, the league is obviously running well.
8. Which GM doesn't pull his weight?
Vernon. The Spurs are obviously looking great right now and in the future, but Vernon hasn't done much with the team other than draft them. I feel like he could be making more DC changes. I just never see him around and making changes to his team, and I think it may show up with either poor playoff performances (because he hadn't found the best combination during the season) or with the loss of key talent to free agency.
9. If you could change 1 rule in BBS what would it be?
Sort of picky here, but I'd change the RCs totals a little. Instead of having separate points for posts and then for RCs earned through articles, I'd combine the points for posts and RCs earned.
10. What is your favorite league outside of BBS and why?
The only league that I am in outside of BBS is the BBS Baseball league. I definitely enjoy BBS the most, but BBSBL and BBS would be like comparing apples and oranges. My only basketball league, though, is BBS. And I don't plan on adding any more leagues anytime soon either.
